I've been asked to play in the city pops band for the big Christmas Concert next month! Rehearsals start again...TONIGHT. Surprise! I can't wait to go play some instrumental Christmas arrangements for band, including the ever-popular Sleigh Ride!

It's chilly here tonight, but nothing like last night. We'll be up and down the next few weeks it looks like...but I remind myself when it's a little warm that it's okay--it keeps the heating bills down! :cool:

Oh, parade update! My friend texted last night & said her daughter is towards the end of the parade, as a matter of fact, she is in the group that will be introducing........ SANTA CLAUS!!! ::wave :march::jump:snowhappy How fun is that??!?!! Apparently she is in a group of 600 dancers. She will be in the 2nd row!
Not that you will get a great view of her on tv but this is her in the middle (blonde)

Good evening,
Another day with no decorating done, I was feeling too sick again this morning to do any. I felt better a little later to go out with the wife to get a few last minute things for Turkey day. We ended up nearly finishing our Christmas shopping while we were out, just a couple more things to get for the boys now.
I was thinking back to how long it has been since I have had the day before Thanksgiving off, I feel like it was back when I was in high school, what a great way to get ready for my second favorite day of the year.
I need to head to bed, I am still not feeling the greatest, probably should've rested more today, but I can't complain about the productivity.
