I do! I do! I've been having goose bumps since the beginning!! Love the parade!!

I love the parade too. My kids kept saying they didn't want to watch it, I told them they had no choice, it is tradition. I get more excited for Santa then they do.

I am in such a Christmassy mood after seeing Santa, I even put a Hallmark movie on, "Meet The Santas." (If you don't know, I rarely watch Hallmark movies)

Good Morning, Everyone and Happy Thanksgiving! There is so much to be thankful for today. I am thankful for God and everything he blesses us with daily, Family and Friends (especially the MMC ones!), our country, and the Packers Bears football game tonight! Go Pack Go!
We are off to my sister's house later today, making/bringing green bean casserole, homemade stuffing, and a black cherry jello mold. I am also looking forward to a good game of Uno or Spoons! I haven't played games forever!
Whatever you are thankful for today, whatever you are doing, God bless you and Happy Thanksgiving!!

Uno? That brings back memories...when I went to my grams for several years on Thanksgiving we always played Uno with my uncles after the big meal.

Happy Thanksgiving!

The holidays are finally here!!!! They are welcomed in by the Thanksgiving day Parade which is on the TV for us right now. I love this time of year, today is, to the 2nd best day of the year, after Christmas Eve/Day which I count as one long fun day.
I hope you all have a great and fun day.

Totally agree Thanksgiving is the 2nd best day of the year after the Christmas Eve/Day.

Who else gets the happy chills when you see Santa at the end of the parade?

It's awesome. I was listening on the radio at noon and the NFL preview came on and they said "The Thanksgiving parade is just ending and the NFL Detroit Lions game is just about to begin...this has been a tradition since 1950 something." Crazy but Thanksgiving is as much of a traditional type of day than even Christmas.

My Thanksgiving morning went well...got my annual traditional walk in with my friend earlier than normal. We met 10:30-11:30. Normally we met around 12:30 or even sometimes later like 1-2PM. It was much better for both of us to do it in the morning. We've done it for 6 years in a row now.

Lots to do today, prepping, cooking, baking, cleaning, etc. I also need to take a ride to the liquor store, can't forget the wine! I better get off of this computer and get started. I'll pop back in when I can!

Good afternoon, everyone! We do not celebrate Thanksgiving over here, but tomorrow we will officially open the new building of our school. That will be a festive happening that I am really looking forward to. I am feeling less tired today and the students were awesome.

Here's a new update (more details) about the parade - this is just exciting! LOL

Mikaela will be in the Spirit of America group performing in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. They will be the last performing group and Santa comes down the middle of the crew. Mikaela starts in the 7th row but moves up in the beginning of the dance to the 2nd row in the middle section. At the end, she will be right down the middle. The parade is from 9 -12 aired on NBC. Miara Carey will go, then Snoopy, ( commercial) then our crew, then some ballons, then Santa!! Look for these costumes. She has a great chance of being on TV. Thanks everyone for your support!!

I will not be able to watch but this is a great way to be as close add possible to it!

Had some company this afternoon, leaving shortly to take son to doc appointment (routine)
Did a bit of work on gingerbread house, but it makes my arm ache so it is not going very fast.
