Happy T-giving Eve my friends!! I am working today but need to run out and get my daughter a haircut at 3. I also need to stop and get a couple bottles of wine. My oldest daughter has a soccer game at 6 so my hubby is taking her to that and I am going to straighten up the house a bit..I have laundry to fold and want to do some vaccuming. I am also going to make the stuffing tonight. Have a great day all!

Is everyone coming to your house tomorrow? Good luck getting everything done!!! I made the sausage dressing last night (just have to turn the crock pot on to cook it tomorrow) ~ it looks SO good ~ even not cooked!

Good afternoon MMC!
It seems like winter began today as suddenly the weather turned rather cold and rainy...yesterday the temperature was in 70's, today it is much colder.
The baby woke up a bit sick today, I think he has a cold. I am a bit worried about him.
On a different note I am so excited that it is only one month to Christmas!

I did not know it got cold in your part of our amazing world. It is warm here for this time of the year at 7c, that is unusual for this late in November. All the lovely snow we got is almost gone again.
Praying your little one feels better soon and it is nothing serious.

Afternoon all,
I feel like I can't catch my breath these days, I have so much little things to do. I can't imagine how busy you guys must be having Thanksgiving in the mix too!!!

I put up the window lights a couple days ago but when I switched them on they were blue which was not what I purchased LOL! I tried to like it but it didn't go with any of the other lights and Mr festive wasn't keen . It was funny though as I was not expecting it when I turned them on! I bought two sets that day so I must have checked one set twice and unfortunately didn't realise until they were up LOL!

Anyway.... hope you all are having a great Thanksgiving Eve!

I know what you mean, things are busy here too. I am not a fan of blue Christmas lights either, not nearly bright or festive enough ! (for my taste anyway)
I am taking a break for lunch with is long over so no excuse any more, except that I like hanging out here.

I'm about 3/4 done. All of the prep work yesterday is paying off and everything is coming together pretty quickly. Just waiting on the macaroni to cook for the macaroni salad and then all I'll have left is getting the stuffing ready. .

Oh, I know you would NEVER have that line! It was actually kind of comical - the lady infront of me had some kind of refund checks - they were worth $10 - the cashier hit the wrong button & gave her $176 worth of groceries, free! OOPS!! So that was a bit of a mess! Had to call in another lady & re-ring so they could charge her the $166. I told her I was happy to be in that line....FREE GROCERIES! HA! I already had my groceries on the belt otherwise I would have gone to a different register. But it was no big deal ~ I wasn't in a rush!

yeah, it is a pain when you push the wrong button and a supervisor has to come and fix it. Especailly when it is already busy !
