Typical day of errands and chores. I'm also going to do some online shopping and put some more decorations out. My mother stopped by yesterday and gave me a beautiful ceramic Christmas tree. I'll post a picture of it later, I just have to decide where I'm going to put it!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Sometimes I look at little things that make me realize how time goes ridiculously fast. Well can you believe it was a week ago that we woke up Thanksgiving morning? Honestly it seems like yesterday and it's already a week. Time to hit on the Christmas season brakes! Although, I have to admit I am looking forward to this weekend coming. I have big Christmas plans of course in terms of shopping for some more gifts, watching lots of Christmas shows and buying some items for the big Christmas Eve dinner that we have every year.
Ahh well for now I'll just handle Thursday. I hope you all have a great one!

A relatively warm day here yesterday but it came at the cost of more rain.
Now, today should be dry but much colder.
(That often seems to be the trade-off around here this time of year.)
We have started off this day before Weekend Eve at 46 still damp degrees here in the capital city.

My morning isn't going so well. My truck won't go in reverse, so I'm waiting on my brother to get to his shop to take a look. I hope I don't have to have a new transmission. We'll see.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!! Wow this week flew!! Our snow yesterday didn't amount to anything! It flurried a little bit & I enjoyed that while putting lights on our shrubs at home! My neighbor was out putting hers up & she inspired me! 
This morning is dark & dreary (& chilly) but there's no precip in the forecast! I'm in an extra good Christmassy mood today since this is my last day of work for the week - big shopping day tomorrow with my friend. Looking forward to it!

Awesome idea!! I sometimes put a candy cane in my coffee!I stuck a candy cane in my afternoon tea on a whim.
I bought a box of 22 candy canes last weekend and put them in a mug in the office kitchen. There are only 5 left.I was thinking of keeping the mug stocked throughout the holidays.
And speaking of candy canes, yesterday a friend of mine sent me these cute snowmen garland she made - she had candy canes stuffed in front of them in pouches & between the snowmen are stocking she had stuffed with candy canes. Well when I took it out of the box, one of the candy canes fell on the floor & Gracie snatched that thing up, unwrapped it & gobbled it down! She must like them too!
