Your house is the party house!!I sent out the mass email last night inviting my family & my cousins to our house on Dec. 27th! If everyone could make it (which won't happen, but...) there would be 77 people at our house. LOL But realistically we will probably have closer to 40. The Grandkids don't all come anymore.
Christmas house hopping is THIS Friday night with our house being one of the houses. EEK!!! They will only be at our house for an hour, but it will be a house full for that hour. Going to be a busy week!

Well we had great weather and a nice visit to Charlotte to see my niece.

The Bank of America Staduim (home of the Panters) can be seen on the lower right. The tall building to the left is where my niece works.
(Looks like with a telescope, she could watch the games!)
Partly cloudy here this morning and 63 degrees, as we await the return of cool weather later this week.

We had a busy weekend with Jacob's guitar recitals and church events, but I managed to cut the grass (in mid-December?!?), so it was productive. Our church party was pretty good last night. We always exchange gifts, men buy men's gifts, and women buy women's gifts. I like it because I always get a handy set of screwdrivers or a crescent wrench to keep around the house. But this year I got a BBQ Butt Rub sampler. What?!? I want my Mag-Light flashlight back!!
Our office party is tomorrow night at a co-worker's home, so that should be a good evening. I still have to get my brother something nice for Christmas, after he helped me so much with my truck.

Good Monday Morning MMC! Ahh finally I'm here. I actually started doing a little bit of work before coming on MMC (what's wrong with my priorities?). Anyway, it's the week before Christmas week. My co-workers even said it's crazy that it feels like we should still have a few weeks before it. But we aren't complaining since we will have a bunch of days off now and time to enjoy with our families. That's what Christmas is all about isn't it? I'm going to really not rush this week because next weekend I have so much to get for Christmas Eve dinner and wrapping presents that it's going to be hectic. My brother is coming from California on Saturday also but luckily it seems he has a ride from his friend so that is one less thing I have to do.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was quite enjoyable. I had a fun time shopping with Kim and Britt on Friday evening. Our Christmas shopping is complete! On Saturday, I had a fantastic time at our annual Christmas Sweater party. The food (fondue, sandwiches, vegetables, meat, etc.) were all delicious. The games were so fun. The gifts were great, too. I ended up unwrapping the Christmas Trivia game I posted on here about a month or so ago. Nobody stole it from me because it was so perfect that I got it... I can't wait to bring it home and play sometime next week.
Well, it's the last week of school and I'm excited to be working all week. In the final two weeks last year, I only had one day of work. This year, I am only missing one day of work. Two days this week are half days, but I'm not complaining. I will be ecstatic to get paid rather than missing nearly two full weeks of pay.
The bell is about to ring. I need to get to changed for my next period. Yay, gym! Oh, and it's Ugly "Holiday"sweater day at Russell. I am proudly sporting my Christmas sweater. People seem to be enjoying it!
