Slowly cooler but still excellent weather for mid December.
Won't last of course, and sub-freezing temps are just ahead by week's end.
For now, we are at 49 degrees here, to start the morning.

Good morning friends. Thank you for all the well wishes for my daughter. She's feeling better, thankfully!
But, the strep throat has struck again...getting me, this time. So, I'm down for the day. At least it happened before Christmas, but I'm praying no one else gets it.
I hope you all have a great day and hope to see you at the Pines. I can't imagine what Carl has planned next week!

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day!!! Feeling excited & pressured for time now! It was almost 9 until I got home from getting my hair cut/colored last night so I didn't get much done. Now I have TWO lunch hours & TWO nights before the house hopping. Today Gracie goes to the groomer on my lunch, then I'll have to pick her up after work. Need to shop for food & drinks. Clean. Make food. Ahhhhh! Good thing I'm off Friday afternoon!

Morning all. Things have been crazy lately and I feel like I've been away from here forever, especially at this time of year! Think someone needs to invent more hours.

Good morning everyone, Merry Pines Day!
I'm heading out soon, Maggie has a groomer appointment. I have a few errands to run while she's there. I have to stop at JoAnns to buy fabric to cover the Christmas Village table. I already had it covered with a nice white tablecloth but the cats decided to attack it, there are runs all over it now and I can't leave it like that. I'm going to look for a fabric that is more plush, something that won't shred from their claws! Grrrr. I also have to pick up a new candle for our window. I had the windows open yesterday because it was so warm and one fell to the floor from the wind and broke. I'm going to stop at the pet store too, I never made it there yesterday. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I also have to make a pot of sauce, we're having spaghetti & meatballs for dinner. That's about it for me.

Day off tomorrow, I am hoping to finally get the last of my decorating finished since we are hosting family and friends for Christmas eve next week. I spent the day today weighing and repricing hams, not fun when the cryovac packaging breaks and you get the ham water all over you.
I am quite tired, I did fall asleep for a little bit on the couch.

Also hoping to finish up my shopping for my wife, and that will be it for 2015's Christmas shopping.

It is never my intention to stay away so long! I hope you guys are doing well. Both kids are sick this week and home from school. I still have some shopping to do!! I am not ready for Christmas next week LOL! Well truth is I want a couple more weeks to enjoy things. It is rushing by!!!
