Christmas Countdown - 2015

I talked to Sheila yesterday and they came through okay. It never got real bad right around them.

No PCBs here. If I'm not mistaken, the 12 Day of Christmas actually start on Christmas Day, so we still have Christmas happening!

I'm only working one day this week, then I'm off till next Monday. Sweet!

Good morning MMC
Hope that everybody is getting back into the groove after our holiday and yet we still have New Year's eve to celebrate!

I hope that everybody is staying safe with all the storms reaching across the US right now.

This year has been an epic year of many challenges, surgeries, hospital stays,.
I feel blessed that I stumbled across MMC in the middle of July, while I was obsessing with Christmas cards and decorations.lol

I know you were also busy out there but can somebody send some good energy my way tomorrow?
While it's my last surgery of 2015.
I have found out that I have other major surgeries coming.

Thank you friends wishing you all a happy day where ever you may be !!

Don't forget to hug your loved ones and Fur babies :rubhead too !! Lol

you bet it is ! I don't get here as often as I would like but so cherish the friendships made , support given and the ever present merry spirit that saturates this place.

Good Morning Everyone!!! Hubby had to go back to work today, the kids are in their rooms enjoying their new TVs and I am enjoying a peaceful house while drinking my coffee. After temps being in the 60s and 70s last week they will be in the 40s and 50s this week. They are calling for a LOT of rain for us tomorrow but thankfully no ice. I think I will get my grocery shopping done later today and maybe make a big pot of soup for tomorrow. While I am out I sill see what other Christmas decorations I can get for next year. The bad part of our old house was that we lived very very close to the river and the wind that came off the river did damage to some of our decorations, especially to the inflatables. In the last couple days we did pick up 3 new ones for next year :) We are already talking ideas of how we want to decorate the house next year.

sounds like a nice morning at your house. To bad about the decorations, hopefully you can find a better spot for the inflatables where the wind cannot play with them so much. I will be in a new place next Christmas so get the fun of planning how to put up those decorations ! It has a big tree out front so that will hold a lot of lights.

I have been thinking about them too since hearing about the tornado, praying all is well.
I love the holidays but also like getting back to routine.
Hoping to get back to crocheting again now that arm is getting better. Amazing how addictive it is !

Precisely! That's the whole idea.
Focusing on the Christmas SEASON from Nov 13 to Jan 1 gives it 50 days of depth, with Christmas Eve and Christmas Day being the icing on the cake.
AND once January 1 comes and we start again, the count to the next Season has already been running down for fifty days, which substantially shortens the wait!!

Rainy here with temps in the 60's. I hope it dries up for a few days before cold weather returns for the weekend.

no snow yet, going to be ice rain first then snow on top of that. The wind is so cold now, 15c (5f) , coldest it has been yet this season. But looking at the radar, a lot is on its way. But then I have also seen it suddenly change course before getting here, so here's hoping !

only 1 day of work, nice ! I am working the next 4 but only 4 hour days so not to hard to do.
No PCB here either, to much thinking about the upcoming move on March 1 and how I will be decorating the new place next Christmas !
You will remain our mayor here for ever, once a Christmas mayor always a Christmas mayor !
