Fingers crossed they worked on them overnight. I saw 3 cars in the ditch, and 2 accidents on my was home last night.

Happy Pine's Day!
I'm going shopping again today, I'm looking for a new year's eve outfit. We're going out to eat at my favorite Italian restaurant tomorrow night. I'm also going to stop at Hallmark to look at the ornaments, I never made it there yesterday. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day ♥

I did my inventory, I did it in 3 hours all by myself. Both people who were supposed to help me did not come in tonight. So now I am officially done for the year after working a 3 hour shift.
Not much else to report tonight, the roads were wet and it was a slow go with the freezing rain falling.

that was nice of them...you should get their pay too for doing it all by yourself. Well done !

Same here on my way home. I hurt all over from struggling to stay on my feet while clearing the day's accumulation of ice from the car, and while getting from the car to the front door. I think I strained some muscles while slipping and recovering, but at least I didn't fall. I'm done for the year, too! Tomorrow I can make Chex mix for New Year's Eve, write some Christmas thank-you notes, and pick up some things at Staples, if the ice melts.

I was just thinking about how many times I have done the same thing, we cannot hardly stand up because it is so icy yet we get in a vehicle and go driving in it ! LOL, Glad you made it home safe.
I just mixed up a batch for beef croquet filling which has to cool several hours before they can be formed. Also going to make some chex mix too.
 
Good Wednesday Morning MMC! I'm off of work for 5 days in a row now for the first time since well since last year believe it or not. It feels weird like I actually have time to just relax a bit in between doing some stuff. I don't even know what day of the week it is this time of year. I think once New Years comes on Friday I'll get back on more of a schedule. How's everyone's hump day going? My brother leaves for San Diego today which is kind of sad because Christmas really is over then. But he plans to return in June and then in December again for Christmas 2016. Crazy to even think about right now but we're all a little crazy on here (in a great way of course).
I hope you all have a great last pines day of the year! I'm gonna try to enjoy this first day off for me.

Still the rain. And the warmth.
Both will be gone in a couple of days.

Still enjoying the final days of 2015.....and this thread.
No record set this year but a great one, nonetheless.

Well, now! Carl is ready at the 'Pines.
Last open house of the year and no doubt a sentimental one.
And, Carl has announced that, as might be expected, the 'Pines will be open to midnight on the 31st to ring in the new year in style.
(Now, just what WAS that camel doing with those fireworks??)
