Adrian & I have some wonderful news! We are now under contract on our new home!
It should be completed late summer 2016, we are very excited!

Congratulations, Buddy!!!! I'm beyond happy for you guys!!!! I can't wait to see the new place in person!!! I know you are probably already planning your Halloween and Christmas decorating!!!

I'll be sad to see your current place go to. I have a lot of memories from those 55 hours I was there. Mainly of waiting for you to get ready. ;):p:D

I need to try to make it back up there again before you move or just come help you move. Then I could see both places. Lol!!!

Thanks, friend!
Yes, it will be fun to decorate there!

Ha ha ha ;)

You just volunteered to help us move! I won't let you forget that offer!

I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!! Cold dreary one here. Makes you want to climb back into bed. Or that could be the cough syrup with codeine I'm taking for bronchitis talking.
Stay warm!! Hope you get relief from that cough soon.
Rest isn't a bad idea, take good care of yourself.

LOL!!! I better start getting back in shape.

Thanks, Buddy!!! I did pretty good while out running around. Only a few coughing fits. I might take a quick nap, now that dinner is in the crock pot.

Congrats snowflake!! Very exciting news!! Can't wait to see it. I can almost imagine how beautiful it will be - especially during the holidays!!! Fun!!!

My tradition is to leave all my lights on outdoors until after my birthday, which is January 7. I shut them off for the final time on Jan. 8. Indoors they stay on until they come down which is usually the second, third, or fourth week of Jan. Depending how bad the PCB's hit me, I try to get them down by the third week though.
Everything stays on past my birthday mainly because as a child I use to beg my parents every year to leave the tree and decorations up for my birthday. I only remember that happening once growing up.
My MIL's birthday is Jan 7th & some years we host a dinner for her, so I like to have my decs up for that yet. That's normally the only time my inlaws see our decs! :)
I think your tradition is a wonderful one!!! I think I have told you this before but Jan 7 is also my nephews birthday. Popular day! I feel like I just got my decs up...so not ready for them to come down!! Not going to think about it! :p

Good afternoon,

Just relaxing listening to some Christmas music now, I didn't get my lazy butt out of bed until 11:15 this morning. That rarely happens to me, but it's still Christmas vacation and I am enjoying it to the mostest.
We are heading to the movies in a little bit, my wife, JP, and my SIL are going to go see Hunger Games, while LC and I are going to go see Daddy's Home.
I hope you all are having a good Wednesday thus far.
I'll be back later.

I am really enjoying visiting MMC more than once a day again, the last few months were so hectic.

I would choose the movie you & LC are going to see also! Hope it is/was great!!

Always been my tradition Holiday...I sure don't want to...Feeling the christmas blues now my house is all back to normal...Just wanna cry:(

(((HUGS))) I would want to cry too! Maybe you need to change your tradition! Ha ha! Just kidding - everybody has their own plan! It's all good. You'll be putting them up again before we know it!!!
:blinky::gifty:tree:

I feel like a Bah Humbug taking my decorations down today:eek:

Snowflake - look what our local carryout is carrying for the holidays! I'm sure they are not as tasty as fresh Wisconsin Cheese Curds....but they are pretty good. I bought Cajon, but they also had Garlic Dill. Made me think of you! :)

Good for you! Everyone should get the chance to do that once or twice a year. Keep enjoying it to the mostest!

The whole time my wife and I have been together I have only once had my tree down before my birthday, and that was 2010 when we were having our living room set delivered on January 5. Which is the exact day I joined MMC because of a major PCB's.

I wonder if I never took down my tree that day if I would've ever joined here.

Amazing how things work out sometimes.
As I go through life, it's amazing how many times a small event is actually a pivotal event in the long run---or how many times something bad turns out to be necessary to something very good that happens later. In one of my favorite books, a wise little orphan girl is wondering about why God allows bad things happen, and decides, "I know He sees it bigger than we do, and maybe He is working at something that isn't finished yet."
