Christmas Countdown - 2016

good morning all !
Between work and studies I am keeping out of trouble so far. Taking a course on dealing with customer rage, really informative.
Don't have to be at work until 1 today, have doc appointment this morning, just follow up for my arm to see if I can now go back to working more hours.

I am not ready for Easter, I wanna go back to 2 weeks ago.
I am already making my plans for the spring at work, we have St. Patrick's day on March 17, and ten days later (March 27) it's Easter. I have to figure out how to fit all the corned beef and ham in the coolers at the same time. That is a very quick turnaround for us to make on selling each item, considering we will be selling hundreds of each per week. (I can't forget the fresh turkeys either)

I didn't realize Easter was so early this year. I like an early Easter. Hope it all goes well for you! I noticed Ben Franklin getting out all their Easter things last night.

The course sounds interesting. Hope you don't encounter to many angry customers but at least now you will be equipped

poor Penny was shaking so hard her whole carrier was shaking too, She kept jumping into my arms and curling up, hugging as close to me as she possibly could. When vet was done she ran back into carrier so fast it almost fell off the table. But she has forgiven me and is fine now. I am not anticipating a good reaction to the actual surgery.

That's the worst. When I had to leave Nitro for his surgery for a few days it was so hard to. And the worst part was visiting him the next day and knowing I can't take him home. He was looking up at me like please take me home. I felt so bad lol...it was terrible. I have a pic of him recovering.

That's when I went to visit him. I felt so bad he was looking up at me. He looked so quiet and out of it after he saw me leave and come back the next day like he'd given up hope. Then when I asked him if he wanted to go home he popped his head up and all of a sudden had all this energy. Funny how dogs know what you're saying.

Awe! What a sweetie! Letting your pet at the vet is very hard to do! Glad he is doing better!

Good evening,
Just a night where once again I figure out why some animals eat their young. The homework battle was a long drawn out affair tonight, LC the stubborn little turd he is was just deadset on not doing it. Of course his mood switches and anything else you ask him turns into a battle even down to what he wanted for dinner. I did tuck him in and read to him at bedtime though, but he is so moody sometimes.
I am and have been working on my "off-season" music microSD card for the last almost 2 hours. I bought a larger card to hold more music since the last card ran out of room. It is the longest I have listened to music other than Christmas since early November. I almost forgot how much I love some of these songs. I don't plan to changing the cards out for a few days to a week, but I have a feeling it will be sooner rather than later. Unless I decide I want to keep listening to Christmas until February.

Feel better HMG! Funny we played a dollar each at work for that powerball. My coworker asks me yesterday how many numbers we need to win the jackpot. I said uh all of them. He said shoot I better get ready to go to work tomorrow then. We got 1 #.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!!!

I managed to get the ribs smoked last night. Didn't get to bed til after midnight, but they are smoked! Now, hopefully they taste good. Lots to do today ~ I don't have time for this work thing. Ha ha! All the in-laws are coming over for my MIL's birthday at 6:30....I'm smoking a turkey breast after work, as well as making potatoes & a salad. Oh, & a little cleaning too. Ahhhhh...

Good morning everyone. I'm moving slow today, I just can't shake this migraine. Thankfully there isn't too much going on. I would like to run to Target at some point if I'm feeling up to it. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores.
My parents were on tv last night, they were interviewed by a news crew when they went to buy their powerball tickets. They were so cute. Can't believe no one won again, I heard the jackpot is going up to 675 million!!!

Afternoon all,
Well I managed to take the tree down. I am glad to have the space back. I just need to take the garlands down and then oragnise everything into boxes to go up into the loft. My spare bedroom is a mess but at least I am making some progress. I feel fine about it all. I am no longer missing Christmas but instead anticipating the coming season and everything else in between.

I heard that about the next jackpot, too. That is over half a billion dollars, isn't it?
I saw an article this morning entitled "What to Do if You Win the Lottery." I wouldn't need to know. I think the shock would kill me! We'll probably buy a ticket, though, just to be in it.
