Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's chilly here in the southeast, but not as chilly as some you Yankees, from what I'm reading here. It was 26°F when I got in my truck. There was so much ice on the windshield, I couldn't drive. I don't have an ice scraper, so I had to wait for the defroster to work. I was just a little late for work, but I beat the boss here, so that's what matters.

I worked on the Camaro's interior for a little while on Saturday. Hopefully, I can get to it this afternoon, too.

My uncle's surgery went pretty well-the cancer hasn't spread into the lymph nodes.
However, they had to remove more of the lung then they had originally anticipated.
They had to take the entire left lung.
They are biopsying everything they removed, hopefully that comes back good as well. If so, he will begin the recovery process.

wow did we ever get dumped on last night ...I am trying to get into my van, but the doors are frozen shut...this is where a garage would be so nice. The problem is not that is is so cold, it is not, the problem is we had rain all morning yesterday then the snow started and just kept coming. Have to wake my son up to help, the back tailgate opens so I will get him to crawl in and start the van to warm it up and then the doors should open.

Good Morning everyone! Not feeling great today-woke up with a sore throat and headache. That's okay though-my word for this year is "rejoicing," so I'm going to stay positive and pick up some probiotics and OJ at the store to try and fight it off as I head into work!

I hope you all have a great start to your week! Safe travels for all of you in places where the weather has been bad. We don't have any of that yet, and no real chances of it happening in the future so far. Take care and see you after work!

Good Monday Morning MMC! Week 2 of work. Here we go. Should be a cold but mostly dry week here. We had a lot of rain on Sunday. But still no snow. It was warm. It's chilled off now and supposed to get colder by mid-week. But still not much in the way of any snow. We may get some snow showers or flurries around then but nothing major. I heard that the 2nd half of January we may see a warm-up again and that temperatures may go above normal again. I'm ok with that personally. But let's see what happens. Yes it's time for another week to begin...but hey it's a week closer to the Christmas season than last Monday at this time . Think positive thoughts today and throughout your week. My tree is up this week and will be up until the weekend.

Typical Monday, I have a few errands to run and I'll be working on my daily chores. My oldest has a doctor appointment as well, I'm going to take a ride with her to keep her company. That's about it for me.

By the way, still some lights out this morning when I went running. There's a few houses I'm keeping an eye on because they have their lights on every morning still. Keeping the Christmas feel going into mid-January.

Aww, so cute!
Glad she's having fun!!

I was talking to my friend at work, who has a chocolate lab, and same thing with him. After being out there for 5 minutes, he started lifting his legs, and then they gave out. The extreme cold doesn't work with them either, bless their hearts.
Har still wants out, but it's not safe for very long.

Hopefully it'll be above zero at lunch!

Awe! Poor babies!! You do have extreme cold there!! Hope everyone & every doggy stays safe in the weather!!!
