Good morning, everyone!

It has been a while. I've been busy. Since the Christmas break ended on January 4, I have been substituting for the same Intermediate class at Russell. Their regular teacher has been off since about mid-November. Although I would rather be doing the secondary students, the Intermediates have been OK. Also, technically, it is my third week with them as I was here the week before the break, too. It's also only for .6 of the day... Most of the time, I also get a full day, so it's OK.

Not a whole lot else has changed here. We are just getting by the most dreary times of the year, as I am sure that you are, too.

Have a great 'Pines Day, everyone! It's only the second of the year... Can you believe that there are less than 50 more until Christmas?! Enjoy your Wednesday!

Ohhhhhhhh ... toasted pecan waffles ... with or without the chocolate ... wish you could transport some here for lunch! I haven't had those in years.

Well guys today has been ok but then my boss says about working on...Saturday. What? Actually it's not unexpected. We usually work 1 Saturday a year right around this time to finish end of the year stuff. Good thing is I get paid time and a half for those hours, and we're only working till noon so I have most of the day to do what I want. And the other good thing is someone will bring in some tasty breakfast. Although it may not be as tasty as prancer's pancakes!

I'm sorry you have to work Saturday but HOO-YEAH to time and a half, off at noon and breakfast!! :-)

Happy Hump Day! We ended up with a coating of snow and it got much colder but supposed to warm up a but later on in the week. Not too much going on. I made chicken tortilla soup for dinner so that is in the crockpot. One less thing to worry about! I will check in later for Pines!

I have to take Jacob to the doctor today. He has a nasty ear infection that we didn't even know about till last night. He obviously has a higher tolerance for pain than me. Whew!

Prancer it is dropping here with each day. We were at 2C today. By weekend we are meant to be below 0 and dropping. Me too Holiday!

Nothing exciting for dinner tonight. Chicken, potatoe croquettes and sweet corn! What are you guys having?
