Good Afternoon/Evening christmas buddies...Hope everyone is having a good weekend so far...Dinner tonite was amazing we all enjoyed it very much...Came home and the girls are still running about...They told granny that they get to stay up till all the cartoons are finished lol....Sitting here with a large glass of prosecco...Enjoy the rest of your Afternoon/Evening christmas buddies:)

I still have a nasty flu virus of some sort, but I hope to be feeling better each day.

Went for a run and halfway through my run I felt a pop in my right calf and had to stop running. Now my calf is really sore and I cannot walk without a limp. Going to try icing it and then a heating pad at night. I'm working my double header right now at the radio station so I'll be off of it for a while. Very frustrating to have this injury. I'm hoping that I can recoup enough so I can continue to run. Gotta start training soon for a half marathon in May. :eek::(

I think it depends on the person. My parents acclimated quickly - their house is like an oven to me. They call mine, "The Meat Locker." LOL I think some people are naturally drawn to cooler/cold climates. I also think that experiencing seasons allows you to appreciate when it is sunny and bright and you can feel the warmth of summer, but it's always like that here so I appreciate the opposite. Bud says I always look like the scene from Frosty the Snowman after he's locked in the greenhouse. He's afraid one night the AC will go out and he'll wake up to nothing but a melted puddle. LOL

And ROFL @ him being able to stay in San Diego given this past year's temps on Christmas. LOL

Interesting. Well I feel "cold" when it's like below 50 now lol. I used to think below 20 was cold. Now I don't like it when it's cooler than the 40s. So I don't like the cold yet...in the summer I need aircondition to sleep. I can't sleep being warm. I guess that I'm just really messed up and confusing :).
And yeah I really did not like Christmas being that warm. It really sucked.

He had a short phone interview with a company yesterday, and it went very well. We'll see if they call him for an in-person interview. Today he has to go into Boston to take an hour-long test (!) in order to qualify for a possible temp contract position. With his experience, he'll do just fine. And he's still waiting to hear back on a temp contract position he interviewed for in late December; the job listing is still open. So we're hoping that 2016 will open some doors instead of closing them.

Awww Snowflake22...Hope your taking plenty of meds and drinking loads of fluids my friend...A good nights sleep makes all the difference..Hope Har is on the mend too..(((Huggs)))...The girls are not long bedded so hopefully they will give us a longer lie in tomorrow lol...Take care Snowflake22:)
