Thank you! I went to Moms after work & then to the grocery. It's so bitter cold. I don't know how you go out in them temps, crazy girl! We had 10º, feels like -6 when I was out running. Brrrr! Glad to be home now! I had to walk on the treadmill to warm up!
I hope you won't be out too late, & you can enjoy a relaxing night at home! xx

I don't like to- but I have to. Har needs the exercise.

so glad to be home, tonight's meeting cancelled as it is snowing blowing and the roads are unsafe. I am fine with that as it is so nice to be home where it is cozy and warm !

Please pray for Abby, my eldest's cat. It was discovered when vet opened her up that she had closed pyrometra.

This is a dangerous and life threatening condition. Fortunately they caught it just in time but Abby is looking at a long recovery and will be on meds for awhile. Abby is with me until tomorrow evening when her mom gets off work. Thanks, my daughter is quite upset and worried about Abby.

Snowflake Or anyone from the US for that matter?I have a really random question.
Are there fireflies in the Nevada region? Around Las Vegas?
Google says you won't find them outside of Kansas but I am curious to hear from someone who lived there.
Is it possible?

Interesting question! I see them every summer out here in mid Michigan. Seems to me that I read once where fireflies need standing water to survive, so maybe a desert environment would not be good for them.

Wow, it is even colder out now than it was this morning. The wind has really picked up here. Palmer has "glued" herself to the heat register so I am sitting here with the laptop on my knees. Crocheted myself a hat with bulky yarn a few days ago ~ so glad I did! It kept me warm and toasty while I was outside doing my chores. Glad to be in!!! Busy day tomorrow. It will soon be time to call it a night, too, so I had best get off-line so it will be easier to sleep.

Again, stay warm. Palmer is one smart cat!!! I'm sure your hat is cozy & warm!!! Enjoy it!!! My niece had the cutest infinity scarf yesterday that a friend had crocheted for her using chunky yarn. I loved it!! I need to look into a pattern like that one! Enjoy your evening!
