Good Morning, Mid-Week 'Pines Attenders.

Yes, Folks. It's 'Pines Day one again.
And with it come today's numbers, delivered to your computer with an MMC smile:
Days to the Season: 298
Days to Christmas Day: 340

Well, after the exhilaration of reaching the 300-day Season Milestone and the commencement of a 200's count, is it too soon to discuss Milestone Marker number two?
<< Never, Crown! >>
OK, then. Let's consult our handy post number 1 chart.

Hmmm......... It seems to indicate that our next marker is set to arrive on February 12.
And.......believe it or not.......it's the ONE QUARTER MARK to the Season.
Well say, now. That's less than a month away. 23 days, to be exact. Three weeks from the day after tomorrow!
Wow. Nearly a quarter of the way back to the Christmas Season already.
I may swoon!!

Nice (well, not so nice) and cold here all day yesterday and the same will be the case today.
We have commenced at 23 degrees here this morning with the chance of some light snow late today.

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, and I hope to see you all at the 'Pines tonight.
For some reason, I have an extra strong hankering for a fired twinkie this time!
(I swear that camel must be putting something in those twinkies to make them addictive.)
Thanks Crown! Can't believe the next milestone is already 25% back to the season!

Yeah I've heard anything from basically just flurries to a foot of snow for us lol. So I really have no idea...think the heavy snow will fall in DC/Philly area not as much NY to Boston...but I'll be listening today for updates.

Our local news is saying 6-12 inches but they'll fine tune that estimate over the next day or two. We'll see what happens.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! I slept really good and overslept by about 10 minutes. Ahh well I'll still make it to work in time. Working that 5 hours on Saturday really made a difference now I just feel like I'm running in circles for 2 weeks without a real weekend. I guess that I'm spoiled. The weathermen here seem like they are afraid to say what we're going to get this weekend. From the maps I've seen most of the heavy snow will stay to the south of my area. But it's kind of dangerously close so any shift north we could get nailed with a snowstorm. And any shift south we basically may not get any snow at all. We're on the edge! Pun intended.
I hope you all have a great PINES DAY!

Merry Pines Day Edge!
Glad to hear you slept well. Hope you have a great day!!!

OK another day almost done. Did not get as much done as I would like but still managed a fair amount.
Abby is home again and happy to be there and my daughter is happy to have her home too.
Snowing again, running out of places to put it.
Hope you are all enjoying your evening. I am getting a cup of tea and then sspending some time working on my course.
I'm glad to hear Abby is home again - continued prayers for her & Penny! Stay safe in the snow today!! Good luck getting course work done!! And with packing for the move! xx

I found a new cake recipe, what do you think ?
Pizza-Cake.jpg

its a pizza cake !
Now, that's interesting! Not sure if I should say "What a Cake!!!" or "What a Pizza!!!" :p

Don't work until 1 today so hope to get some work on my course done this morning as well as some work around the house. Now that packing is in full swing we live in constant shambles. Look for ward to moving and having order to my life again (at least when it comes to my home)
Hope you all have a fantastic day !!

Merry Pines Day Star!
Hope work goes well. Have a wonderful day!!!

Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day!!!! We have SNOW this morning!!!! Not enough to make the roads terrible, but they were covered with a dusting. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to last long....it started while it was dark & will probably be over soon, so I won't get to watch it much! Bummer! Ah well - it's still pretty & refreshing! Makes the world new again! :)
Everyone, enjoy your Pines/Hump Day!!!

Good morning Holiday!
Merry Pines Day!
Enjoy the snow, be safe!
Hope you have a wonderful day!

Merry Wednesday,
It is very mild today at 2C and it feels like autumn. It's a beautiful dry morning with grey skies and crisp cold.

I will be catching up with some work today as well as some house chores in between the school and nursery run.

I could not wake up this morning even though I went to bed fairly early. Hope the rest of you wake up rested and ready for another day!

Are you sure there's nothing that can be done? Let Jeff know what's going on. Maybe there IS a fix or a work-around.
I did mention it once, but I got the impression that he was a bit overwhelmed, so I dropped it. I appreciate Jeff giving us MMC, and I don't want to add to his stress.
P.S. Isn't there a browser setting that you can choose to not load graphics? Not ideal, but it could help?
Hmmm, possibly. I'll check on that, thanks! :)

Being so close to 1/4 way back to the season really does seem impossible!!! But YAY!!! :sway
See you tonight!

Thanks, HmG!
We are doing pretty well this morning.
Hope you & Maggie are, too ❤️
Hope you have a beautiful day!
Xo

Glad to hear it!
Maggie and I are doing pretty well too. Still not sleeping through the night but I'm kind of used to it. Her cough has been under control with the medicine so I'm happy about that!

Thanks, friend ❤️

You're welcome ♥

Well HMG you are further south than me so it makes sense they are saying more snow for your area. But like you said...its "estimates" and they will probably keep changing their predictions and even then...the predictions will mostly turn out to be not so accurate :).

Hope you see some beautiful snow, but also stay safe while you're out there on the roads ❤️
