Good morning, MMC!

What a great weekend! Worked, caught up on sleep, did several loads of laundry at the laundromat, didn't use any electronics, made a new recipe and had lunch out with my brother. I could use a bit more sleep, though. This morning I was awake by 1. Just could not fall back asleep so I got up and am getting some things done. Waiting for the sun to come up and then I can really get into some organizing and cleaning. For now I am catching up on the stuff I let slide the past two days.

Thanks! Today we're supposed to have a big site meeting, but the execs were flying in from Washington DC, so I'm not sure if they are able to make it for today. I will find out soon. Winter weather advisory, icy mix possible. Hope it is just snow!

Yes, about 30 inches of snow. Many flights still canceled.

Just a lazy day here, took a nice nap, the kids did the shoveling. They are getting old enough to do more yard work, and they will. I did a lot growing up, so they will too.
I know it is evil of me, but listening to sports talk radio will be enjoyable tomorrow with the Patriot's losing. (sorry RachRon)
Watching American Pickers before bed, that would be such a cool job, the time is coming for some zzzz's

Morning all and a happy Monday. The handbreak cable snapped on my car this morning so Mondays not off to the best start. Fortunately it was at my house so I was able to to leave it there and take my wife's car. I think it knows I want to change it, as it's cost me a fortune the last month, revenge of the unwanted car.

Sorry to hear about your car...hope it can be fixed soon!

Merry Monday,
We have warmed up here to 10C! A week ago they were saying sub zero temps would last for weeks!

The snow storm is crossing the Atlantic and heading for us. However by the time it gets here it will fall as rain - heavy prolonged rain with severe risk of flooding. I don't know how much more rain we can take here!

Last Monday in January!! Just think, next Monday will welcome us to a whole new month already!

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Rudolph Day! First one of the year. Pretty awesome and amazing Christmas was a month ago now. 11 more to go. Panthers/Broncos in the SB should be good. The weekend I spent half of it shoveling lol. It really threw off my weekend but what can you do? We had such a warm autumn and first half of winter so far. It's like winter paid us back with a bang at once. My boss is out Mon/Tues/Wed of this week. I like her but still...it's kind of nice to get a break from her and sometimes you know how it is you're trying to do some of your regular work and your boss throws these other things at you and then you can't get your work done. So I'm gonna kind of enjoy a little break this week and it's also what is known as my "slow week" at work so I can catch up on things and have a little extra MMC time.

We are now barely over 2 1/2 weeks away from our second Milestone of 2016, the ONE QUARTER marker to the Season!


It was still quite cold here yesterday so we did not get too much ice melting despite the sun.
Today is predicted to be warmer and again sunny, so we should make major inroads toward clearing all this out.
Right now, we have again started off quite chilly at 28 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina, home of the Panthers!
