Good Morning Friends! Finally got over the post Christmas blues. Now I'm looking forward to Christmas 2016! We have some new ideas for decorating the outside. Thinking about getting a couple of those spiral trees that light up. Have a great day everybody!

Onward, we march.
Onward.....ever onward.....year after year.
Onward to that same destination time and time again.
We mark it daily.
Therefore, we hereby present today's count numbers:
Days to the Season: 292
Days to Christmas Day: 334
And we further note that there is now less than 2 1/2 weeks to go to our next Milestone marker -- the 1/4 point to Christmas Season 2016!
Well, the temps did indeed get warmer yesterday and significant inroads were made toward eliminating the accumulated ice from our recent winter weather event. Hopefully, today will take care of most of the rest of the job.
We have started off sunny at 41 degrees here in the center of North Carolina.

The wind is howling outside and every so often there is a hush before it hisses again. Black clouds are hanging over and the air is haunting and eerie.
