Good Night MMC! Last weekend of January...

Elizabeth is big on olives. I'm more of a mushroom guy, myself. The more, the better!!

I am in the outside looking in on the olive thing. The closest I have come to an olive was when I was first dating my wife and I had a salad with a few olives in it. You know about that juvenile comment I said a few posts back. I put an olive in each nostril and was trying to get a laugh. It worked! She still won't let me forget that one.

Jumping in here quickly to say happy Friday to one and all! Hope you guys have a beautiful weekend! At last count, I was on page 298 in the posts, so still trying to catch up. Been swamped lately so my time to pop in this past week has been very limited.

Thought this one would give you a laugh. I was making mozzarella cheese, was getting ready to move over to the strainer - turned around and there was Laila, all curled up in the strainer in my cheesecloth. Evidently she missed the part about cheese making needs a very clean environment. She was rather insulted that I got out a new cheesecloth and strainer. LOL

I am not feeling any better tonight, I still plan on going in to work tomorrow, don't know if I should be, but I will push my way through. LC was sick all last night, poor thing only was able to eat 3 crackers and a Popsicle for the entire day. My wife stayed home with him today.
Time to call it a night, I just realized it was 11pm. Where does time go?

The storm passed in the middle of the night
And it was only the trampoline we lost...
Even though it was strapped to our porch
The legs just broke, so T was out last night (in the storm)
with his flashlight putting all the pieces under the porch..
I know he had do do it, but it was scary seeing him outside
when things came flying in the wind
Electricity is back, and it's a quiet morning

Thank you all for your prayers.
I was so scared driving yesterday, the weather was terrible.
And suddenly, like magic it stopped. Just like that.
It was so quiet , it was almost scary.
And T's plane landed perfectly with no wind at all.
Thank God! And thank you all for your prayers!
When we came home, the storm started up again

And it was only the trampoline we lost...
Even though it was strapped to our porch
The legs just broke, so T was out last night (in the storm)
with his flashlight putting all the pieces under the porch..

Good Morning MMC! Happy FRIDAY! We did it!!! Another week down.

Hope you all are having a WONDERFUL week and have exciting plans for the weekend. I'm getting my haircut today-SO excited-and have my first 10K training run of the cycle tomorrow morning, then we have a black-tie event for an art opening of a woman in our church who passed away recently. She was painting 100 paintings for her 100th birthday before she died-she got into the 20s before she couldn't do it anymore. I'm excited for that and for another full weekend off!

Again, sorry to write and dash-I'll do better at checking in with you all soon. I do hope everyone is well.

The art show sounds interesting. What a nice legacy for the woman who painted the pictures! Have fun!!

Thank you Meceka! She had a grueling day yesterday - had to drive 1 1/2 hrs. north to go see my SIL in the hospital, then turn around at 7:45 last night & drive 3 hours north to her daughters house to stay with her Grandsons.

We are expecting extreme weather any time now.. It's already hit Norway, and are on the way towards us..

And I'm worried.
T is soon on his way home, and I have to pick him up at the airport in about two hours. And I'm not sure it's even possible to land the plane in this storm.
I'm scared of driving in this weather, and scared of him flying in this weather.
Please say a prayer for us..

Even though the storm is more than likely over, I sent up a prayer that all is well!

Im currently staying in Northern Ca ,woow Nelly..we don't have rain like this in AZ.
Except 10 minute monsoon storms every now and then.

Im still recovering from Last year..3 major surgeries and more to come.

Its one day at a time here ;lol. And I am Greatful.

My plans for sleeping in were for naught as I woke up before my alarm would have gone off. Since I could not fall back asleep, I ended up watching a documentary on Mary Tyler Moore and doing some research. There are several projects I should tackle today, all of which will take some time getting done. Should be a busy day!

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Last weekend of January and my tree will come down today. Sorry Holiday I know you wanted me to keep it up till Sunday but my friend is coming over to help my brother and I take it down today. It's ok. This is the latest that I ever had it up but I think going forward I will do that each year and try to keep it up through January. It's helped me out having a good month in my least favorite month of the year. It's chilly out here but nothing crazy and certainly better than last Saturday when we were hit with the blizzard. It's gonna be a nice weekend and no real football . That's a little sad. I have enough to do without football though and I woke up early this morning. I hope everyone has some fun this weekend!
