Snowing here, with 6 to 10 inches of heavy, wet snow expected. So I opted to work from home today. I'll be constantly monitoring my office email throughout the day. Mr. had to drive to a job today, but it's not terribly far away, and the commute is along major routes. He phoned to let me know he got there safely, in spite of the crazy drivers around him. Just sitting here with a cup of tea waiting for the jobs to come in!
I am sure you made the right decision working from home today. Great that Mister's commute isn't to challenging.

I know...but it does make for a fun Sunday evening instead of thinking about work on MondayEnjoy your weekend & the superbowl!!! (I don't even want to think about the superbowl yet b/c that means it's Sunday night already....LOL)
. Plus all my vacation days got approved for the year so pretty soon I'll be having some days off.

I'll still be thinking about work on Monday...but ya! Just a late night & have to get up for work the next day.... I thought about taking the day off, but I didn't. I'll save that day for nicer weather!!!I know...but it does make for a fun Sunday evening instead of thinking about work on Monday

Thank you, friend. We had a rough night, so I'm extra worried about her.
I cancelled our plans, because we don't know if she'll have any extractions, or medications to take just yet. I want to be around to keep an eye on her.
Thanks, I hope it flies by too. I'm going on less than two hours of sleep.

OH NO!! A snow day & a shortage of yarn!!!
Oh no! I'm so sorry you had a rough night. Was it her belly or her teeth? Or you don't know? You poor girls!!! I'll be hoping & praying she does great & you can all get some rest tonight!
We don't have any plans tonight. Jim usually goes to the Moose on his way home from work for the drawing so it's 7:45-8:00 til he gets home. I like staying home on Fridays so I'm good with that. Tomorrow night we are making plans with friends. I'm not sure what we will end up doing, but we'll find something . Probably out to eat & then ??? Sunday I imagine we will go to the Legion to watch the Superbowl with friends. We have watched it there the last 4-5 years so why change tradition?!
Our friends run the Legion - she made a big roaster of chili & everybody brings snacks. It's always a good time. Sorry you had to cancel your plans. I hope you all still have an enjoyable weekend! xx

But also Ken, Adi's Dad. He called after 9:00 and was struggling. Adi had to drive down during the snow and slick roads. I was worried about them, and Har. None of us slept.
He is better today, I pray that continues.

Her vet just called and said that she's at a much higher risk for the surgery because of her heart murmur. She said that she's at higher risk if she didn't do the surgery, because dental disease if left untreated, affects the organs, specifically her heart, liver, and lungs. If we wait, it will be higher risk next time. Catch 22.
I am so frightened.
She is also taking x-rays of her heart while she's under, to look at the swelling. She is taking all of the extra precautions she needs to, but is still concerned. I'm terrified right now. And trying my best to hold it together.
I will keep you posted, she has to give her antibiotic injections and other precautionary meds, so it will be starting a bit later. I hope to hear by early afternoon.

Well the game starts really around 6:30 should end by 10...a little post game maybe 10:30 I'll be in bed my normal time plus I don't drink alcohol so not like I have to worry about having a hangover maybe just off the sandwich and chicken wingsI'll still be thinking about work on Monday...but ya!
