More snow is on the way, we're expecting up to 8 inches today. I'm heading out in a few minutes, I have a couple of errands that can not wait. Should have taken care of them yesterday but I got caught up in preparing food for the big game.

Morning everyone and a happy Sunday! Unfortunately I have been down with a chest infection all week which has been a real struggle as I've had a busy week. Hopefully i'll get a doctors appointment this week in case I need something a bit stronger than I'm taking. Anyone with Superbowl party plans enjoy, I think I'll be tucked up in bed with a hot toddy ;-)

Finally trouble-free. I'm sure you can imagine my surprise when I contacted my service provider and after three weeks with no internet access to reach someone who told me that my account had been suspended due to illegal activity. HUH??? My d-link had been recalled and I had no idea because I don't use my old email account so I never received the warning. Someone had hacked into my router and was using it like free wifi. A similar thing happened in April and the technician bypassed something and set me up again, but never told me I needed to get a new router with firewall security. When I shared my frustration with the service rep, he indicated that they are not IT specialists, they are only trained in their own software and set ups. Well, 40 minutes and $70.00 later, I installed a new router all by myself. Got my old laptop back on-line too.

Unfortunately, I can't play catch up right now; I'm heading over to visit my mom. She's been in and out of the hospital twice since mid-January and her spirits are a bit low.

I should get back up later this afternoon. Got my Super Bowl seat picked out, if the CAT doesn't object.

I think the Panthers will win, they are just really good this year. The Broncos' defense is going to have its hands full. I think a Bronco win really hinges on the defense. Manning needs to have just enough magic if the defense plays well. I don't think he has what it takes (any more) to get into a high scoring game with the Panthers. But, I will be rooting for the Broncos anyway. As a Browns fan I am used to rooting for the losing team. Also, as a Browns fan, it is strange to cheer for the Broncos. Yes, I am still bitter about "The Drive", "The Fumble" and 1989.

As I mentioned, working from home again today. Mr. is home today, so I don't have to worry about him driving out in the storm (except for a few local errands he wants to do). It's tedious to have to check email every few minutes, but better than driving among the idiots on snowy roads.

My daughter's party went well..all the kids seemed to have a good time. They went outside for a while and goofed around in the snow. Then last night we went to a friend's house for the game. It was good...ate too much food, of course!

Finally done!! Problem was in the vid feed for the meeting. Fourth Q of 2016 meeting in Feb. has been officially placed in the books. So those of you that remember my post from last week will be happy to know that Christmas will come early to the big box store where it is at all possible. In the planning stages atm but look for a seasonal aisle to be Christmas sometime after the July 4th holiday but before Back to School. Idk if they can pull it off so I wont bank on it happening. Depending on store zoning start looking for Christmas setting in mid Sept. Earlier for southern states.

Wow very exciting and close too! Hope it all goes smoothly.

I had a pretty good weekend, but Nancy said I was too grumpy at my mom's yesterday for lunch. Mama loves to invite everyone from church for dinner, and I get there to find 12 people lined up fixing their plates. Grrr. Sunday afternoons are supposed to be time with my family! So I grumbled a little, and Nancy gave me what-for for the rest of the afternoon.

I'm glad Monday is here! LOL

I'm the same way...kind of territorial myself. But your mom sounds like a great person for doing that!

Do you ever have that time in your life where you feel someone or something is testing your faith, strength and will to keep carrying on....

I feel that way right now.... If you can imagine what it looks like to see a 52 year old man cry, I can send you a picture....

My son who is in the Maryland air national guard, just came home and told me that his unit is being placed on active duty and will be shipped out to the Middle East this October....his name was on the list to go....

I am ex military. I know how it is and the possibility to be sent into harms way. But he is my son, and I love him so much.....

I cannot get a break...

It must just be because she feels so unwell, and that she stressed. Because she typically takes her pills pretty well for me. The only other time I've struggled so badly was when she had liver disease.
And this is so detrimental to her well-being, I'm at my wits end.
Yes, I've tried peanut butter and cream cheese tonight. Cutting them up into smaller bits. She won't even entertain them.
After almost 2 hours of trying, we mashed them up and added a little bit of sugar and water and put them into a syringe, unfortunately the syringe was too big and I couldn't get it into her mouth far enough and she got most of it on her body. We're all so stressed right now. And she's breathing too fast for her own good so we just need to quit for tonight.
Thank you for your ideas, appreciate them Going to call the vet tomorrow.

8 inches yikes. We're only getting maybe 1-2 inches here. I heard about another storm possible Friday/Saturday? Seems like lately we're trying to dodge these storms one after another. Bring me spring soon please lol.

I don't want to wish the time away but I'm kind of looking forward to Spring as well!
