Good morning MMC! "Happy" Monday!! I'm not sure how much catching up I'm going to get done today, so I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!!
Brad & Meceka - hope your brothers are both doing well!
Snowflake - hope Har & Ken had a great weekend!
Festive - praying everyone is healthy at your house.
Keeping you ALL in my thoughts & prayers!
Mom remains in the hospital. She has had some rough nights. She gets confused as to where she is. They think it's mostly meds. Last night she had a good night, BUT this morning her blood pressure, heart rate & white blood count are all up. So - more tests & meds. Poor lady can't catch a break. She's getting discouraged. My sis will be there soon & I'll be heading up to relieve her in a few hours.
My Moms brother (95 years old) came up to the hospital Saturday night & brought both his sisters balloons & cards for Valentines Day. It was the cutest thing ever. We had a party in my aunts room. I must say that is the most fun I have ever had in a hospital. LOL

Thanks so much, Ryan~I'm still praying for y'all, friend. I know this last week has been rough! Glad Adi is home and I hope Har eats more today. I hope the work day goes quickly for you. Extra prayers today.

Thank you, but I wish you and I could switch for a day or two. But I'm thankful it's nice out. Kids are enjoying it.

Thank you, I believe Ken is doing pretty well considering. I know he's happy to have Jobi back home (my SIL).
Harlowe showed improvements, for the most part. She's still not as solid as I hoped in her recovery from this infection, but I'm hopeful that today will be better than yesterday.
I know we're both happy that Adrian got home a few hours ago.

Good Morning MMC...happy Monday! I am off today so I am taking my oldest daughter to the mall shopping which is fine because I ate way too much dinner last night so it will be good to walk for awhile..lol! Keeping you all in my prayers and I hope you all have a great day! I thought this was cute!

I woke up around 6 a.m. yesterday morning and looked at my iPhone to see how cold it got, and it was -11F at that point, with a wind chill of -37. I went back to bed, very grateful that the wind didn't put out our electricity!
Have you seen the various videos of people flinging boiling water into the frigid air outside? It instantly vaporizes in a puff of "smoke"! Boston.com was showing video of "steam" rising off of Boston Harbor. We have been staying indoors out of it. The temps are suppose to get into the teens or 20s (F) today, and rise throughout the night and throughout the day tomorrow to near 50F. Snow tonight, changing to sleet and freezing rain, then to all rain. Crazy weather! We're off today for Presidents' Day, but it's back to work tomorrow.

It's such a relief to hear her sounding like her old self.
Thanks for all the prayers snowflake!!! It was just the cutest thing when my uncle came up to the hospital. His daughter brought him. She said she told him what to write in their cards, but he wrote whatever the heck he wanted. LOL Adorable!
I hope things start turning around for mom too. Hopefully they can get something figured out. She just doesn't do well on meds. I hate to see her discouraged!
I'm glad to hear Ken is doing pretty well. Hopefully every day is better for him too.
And so happy to hear Har is improving. I hope she has a good week. I'm sure she's happy to have her daddy home!

I'm sure that is very difficult to see her discouraged. Praying the tests answer questions, and that they find the right meds to treat her <3
