Christmas Countdown - 2016

It will be a rainy & windy day here, but in the 40's. Is Spring in sight?

I have an appointment for Isaac with the Doctor this morning. I am going to have to insist on things today. We had the worse night ever. He could not sleep at all and the cough is worse if that's possible. it is constant. He has been unwell for months. Surely this can't be normal. Can it? I mean I know kids get sick often but this feels different. This will be the third time at the Doctor's.

I'm sorry if I sound like a broken record stuck on the same thing all the time. I'm like the dog in this photo ....

Happy Friday!
Not too much going on here today. I'm going to run a couple of errands this morning and then head back home to catch up on my chores. I have a ton of laundry to do, I've been slacking the past couple of days. My mother is supposed to take a ride over this afternoon for a visit. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

She is doing pretty well- Being finicky with food, but still eating some. Taking her pills well. She had a much better day yesterday!

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! I'm so busy at work that the days are a blur which makes these weeks fly by and it's Friday again! Every Sunday evening Friday afternoon seems miles away yet it just comes so fast. Can you believe this is the 50th day of the year already? 1/7th of the year almost gone. Oh my dentist appointment went well. No cavitiies etc. My dentist loves to talk. He asks me about my running and how it's going etc. He says "how old are you?" And I tell him 37. He says to me "I can't believe that. You look 30 tops." I proceeded to hug him (kidding)...but yeah it was a good day. And now it's Friday...Nitro is ready for the weekend. The temp is supposed to get into the 50s this weekend! An early taste of spring and I do have a bunch of errands and food shopping to do etc...but I'm looking forward to it.

Merry Friday!! We are not up to much today..my youngest is having her friend sleepover tonight and then a quiet weekend ahead which is fine with me. We may grill out tomorrow night. Luckily, our grill was not damaged when it blew off the deck it landed in muddy grass so I think it softened the blow..;) Enjoy your Friday!

Why would that be important?

Well, it's because as of tomorrow, we will be down to SINGLE DIGITS to Milestone number three, the 300-day Christmas Day marker!

Days to the Season: 268
Days to Christmas Day: 310

And, of course, immediately after we open that 300-day window, a double-200's count commences!


It was a bit nippy yesterday but not too bad for mid February.
Another coolish one today is predicted before it REALLY warms up nicely for the weekend, with a possible 70 degree reading by Sunday afternoon.

We currently see 33 sunny degrees here in central NC.


Have a Fully Fantastic Fabulous Friday Folks (bearing in mind it is also Weekend Eve)!

Not at all! I don't blame you for being frustrated. This is about the health of a family member, and the doctor's advice isn't effective. Tell 'im what he needs to be told! He should also be able to advise you on how to break the vicious cycle of illnesses at your house. Do you have the option of going to another doctor for a second opinion? (Excuse me for asking ... I don't know how healthcare works in the U.K., except for some very unflattering sketches about nationalized medicine that I've seen on "The Two Ronnies"...)
