Thank you so much snowflake!!! Another update since my post - they will take her off antibiotics tomorrow b/c he doesn't feel they are helping. It's just going to take time. He feels it's a viral pneumonia that just needs to run it's course. They are discontinuing respiratory therapy, but she does need to continue to use her breathing "toys" Spirometer, etc. She will either go swing bed on Wednesday, or possibly HOME!!!! We are making out a calendar now for who is going to stay with her, until Emma comes on Monday. And yes, Emma is amazing! My sis made it known if it's possible to go home Wed, that is our wish! xx
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I need to read to catch up on how Har & Ken are doing!! Hope all is well!

This week will tell us our next move, fingers crossed she does well off of the antibiotic being taken for the infection.

Finally caught up. So happy to read all the good news!

Getting my taxes done today. Will be glad to have it done!

Storm on the way Wednesday and Thursday. As it stands right now there is a potential for 8 - 10 inches and far colder weather. Yuck! Most of the snow from the last storm is finally gone so at least it won't pile up too high should the prediction prove true.

Off to get some things done.

Not really sure what it is exactly. I hope the Dr is right about your mum and the virul infection runs it course quickly. Her body must be so exhausted! Bless you all.

I need to run to Rite Aid and the supermarket to pick up a few things for her. We're heading back to the doctor this afternoon. I'll try and pop back in at some point. You are right. she has done SO much better since she found out she will be heading home! It was amazing the transformation. I just think she needed some good news. It was hard to see her so down in the dumps!
I texted my cousin over the weekend. She said my aunt was doing well, but home health was in & 1 lung is "quiet" so they want her to cough & get rid of whatever ick is in there! But hopefully she stays well!
This is what Mom's spirometer looks like:

She has to put that tube in her mouth & suck in air, raising the 2 floating plastic pieces inside (1 is yellow & 1 is white in the picture) She's supposed to do that 10 times per hour. She has been much more willing to do it after she heard about getting out of there!
