No tears in my daughter's knee...it's a growth plate irritation. She's got a different brace that locks so she'll be able to bend her knee a bit, but not too far. She has another appointment in 2 weeks for a checkup. She can have the brace off if she's resting, but needs it on when she's moving around and needs to continue to use the crutches and cannot put weight on her leg. I was worried that she did something to her ligaments so I am relieved that there'll be no surgery. She still wants to play sports and while she's upset that she won't be able to play basketball for her school, she's happy that she'll most likely be able to play soccer (her favorite) next quarter. She was worried that she may have had to miss playing sports the rest of the school year. Seeing her in so much pain while they were checking the strength of her knee made me almost physically sick. But for how she went into the boards and hurt herself and with her knee being so sensitive to the touch, I couldn't have asked for a better diagnostic.

Glad there aren't any tears, and that she won't need surgery.

I am glad that the checkup was positive and there is no long term damage. Prayers for your daughters speedy recovery and healing. I understand completely about seeing your children in discomfort and pain. The last time my son was in hospital and I had to watch him go under general aesthetic - I almost passed out myself!!!! (((Hugs))) Hope she is back to playing soccer or football as we call it soon.

Yes-maybe it's a bit different here! I'm not sure.
Open House exposure is how we were able to finally sell our condo. It was pretty small too, and it was open to the public for an hour and a half. Of course, not too many people come through at a time. Most of the time it was one person or just one couple at a time.

Maybe when you view the houses, you both will be on the same page! If not, and you're interested in both of them, you could start a pros and cons list.
Adrian and I had to do with the house we bought after selling the condo.

Some estate agents do open houses for some apartments/flats pending on the area as well for new build houses such as the estate that is being developed along the marina near here. I think it's got to fit the type of property, location etc.
However they sometimes do multiple viewings where two or three clients are booked in within a time slot to come by and view. I suppose this is quite similar.

Thank you that is good advice as always. I remember us making a list when we bought this house. At the time we were considering between two.
It's funny I woke up this morning leaning more toward Laura (realtor) than Mike (other realtor). Maybe it's a sign we lean toward the house being sold by her agency today It would make things less complicated buying and selling within the same agency. They originally sold us this house too. Anyway ....

Oh no that can be painful and uncomfortable. If you fancy a home remedy that sometimes work. Try taking a teaspoon of American mustard. Also a glass of milk can help. Hope you feel better soon. You may have to nip to the chemist in a bit

Do you mean an open house to sell our property? Our house would be too small for that I think. It is tiny Stacey LOL!

Yes they are both local. In fact their offices are next to each other. The realtor yesterday is with the agency who sold us this current house. So I was leaning toward familiarity but Mike who I saw today was so confident in his pitch that it's making me wonder.

To make things a little more 'exciting' - the house I am leaning toward is with the agency I saw yesterday while the house Mr F is leaning toward is with the agency I saw today!!!

Nancy and her mom both have had the stomach flu this week, but her mom is still trying to plan Bernie's HUGE birthday party for tonight. She's inviting the whole family. I know that doesn't sound to awful, but Nancy is the baby of 6 siblings. And they all have kids, and most have grandkids. We are talking about 50 people in Mrs. Hilda's house tonight! With germs floating around!

Nancy's trying to get out of going, so we'll see how it goes.

So glad you are feeling better. My youngest is doing a lot better on the inhalers. It has made such a difference. We are seeing the Dr on Friday for another assessment. He has been playing more and sleeping a lot better. It is such a relief. Thanks you so much for asking.
