It's worth a try. Something new - good experiment! The pattern I used was a round DC scrubby - maybe a SC would be better? I'll have to play with it!

Just got home from Moms. Her & Emma are doing awesome! I'm not too knowledgeable about the Amish way of life, but Emma is a an Angel! What a gem! I went to get the groceries she had on her list, but I also picked up a 12 pack of Bud Light bottles for her b/c I know she likes beer, which totally cracks me up! Her face lit up when I walked in with it! Ha ha! (Mom is the one who was worried about making sure there was some beer in the house for Emma!) I'm sure she can't have that when she is at home! I can't imagine her going from living with my mom all week with electricity, hot water, tv, refrigerator/freezer, etc.... to back home with nothing modern for the weekend. What a change! My cousin also stopped in to see Mom & Emma while I was there. Mom loved that! It's been a good day!

Emma does sound like a real gem, I'm so glad she's there with your mom. I know it's a great comfort for you.

Mom is very happy to have Emma....BUT she likes it much better when Emma is staying with someone else & only coming to visit mom as a social visit! She is an independent lady!

We would love for Adrian's Dad to get some help around the house, but he refuses.
