Hope you get some relief, friend. You're welcome ~
And thank you <3
I'm getting ready to turn in, trying to fight off a headache this evening. Maggie's snuggled up next to me. She took her antibiotic and cough suppressant earlier, I'm hoping she has a good night.
Sending up prayers for you and Har, I hope you both have a good night as well.
xoxo
Goodnight
********** MILESTONE DAY **********
Good Morning, My Many Manifestly Manical Madcap Major Milestone Markers.
And mark it well, we have indeed arrived at the THREE HUNDRED DAY CHRISTMAS DAY WINDOW and the immediate beginning of a double-200's count.
(WOW!)
Days to the Season: 258
Days to Christmas Day: 300
(And stay tuned for a press release from none other than Carl himself.)
Wonderful day yesterday with plenty of sun, no rain, calm winds and moderate temperatures.
(Felt like mid Spring, and I'm not complaining!)
Right now, we have commenced this final, extra day of February at 54 degrees here in the capital city of the great state of North Carolina.
OK. In light of our arrival at the 300-day mark, and because of the uniqueness of the date, Carl has announced a special mini-open house this evening with the theme of "Leap through the Window", no doubt a reference to both our Milestone and the fact that it falls on February 29th.
About all he will reveal is that the entertainment focuses on a game involving jumping through the 'Pines dining room windows. He's wearing tennis shoes, so no doubt he will be participating personally.
(Well, don't know about you, but I for one am just curious enough to go!)
Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!
Good morning MMC! Monday again! But it is a Happy Monday b/c I have the day off work!I originally took off to either stay with Mom or to go get Emma (the Amish lady) - but my sis ended up spending that night at her daughters house in Ft. Wayne last night so she picked Emma up on her way home this morning! My oldest sis spent the night at Moms last night so she was there with her this morning. I thought about going into work, but I already had it in my brain that I was going to be off today, so Wahooo - I'm not working today!
I had a great 24 hours with Mom...it went SO fast. I wanted another 24 hours!! How relaxing. LOL! Knocking on wood, she is doing really well. We are going to call her cardiologist today b/c her BP is SO low & she is SO tired. We think he needs to adjust her meds.
On a sad note, we lost my SIL over the weekend. She passed away around 3:30 am Friday night/Saturday morning. Her nurse had been in her room several times that night & had conversation with her. Said she seemed to be doing better. But when she walked in at 3:30 am. Jackie was peacefully gone. It's so sad, but I truly feel it is a blessing. This is what she wanted. No more pain - just too young!![]()
On a happier note, my niece (my Goddaughter) got engaged over the weekend, while on vacation in Colorado...at the top of the mountain! SOOOOO excited for them!

Everyone, enjoy your Monday! I'm going to see if I can get caught up here!

They are in my thoughts. Thanks, Edge!
It isn't Monday blues, really.
Har had a tough morning, so I'm worried about that. Especially since I need to start the heart med soon. Wouldn't eat or take meds. Not feeling well.
And my sister's senior beagle, Hunter, is in rough shape-he was rushed to the vet this morning. He's in a lot of pain, and can't sit or lay down. Shaking a lot, too. My sister is very worried, and if surgery is needed-well, he's too old for a safe procedure. I'm hopeful they can make him comfortable. Please keep them in your prayers.
We ended up making it to 62 degrees!
It was gorgeous out!!
Then, had snow and sleet yesterday.
20's and wind gusts up to 50 mph today. Brrr!
Crazy is right!
She is in my thoughts. Thanks, friend~
She isn't doing too good today. I just went home to spend some time with her, and I didn't get my usual greeting. She isn't eating much, either.
Please keep her in your prayers.
Hope you have a wonderful night!
For today you should have changed your name to Xmas366...now you can resume back to xmas365 for the next 4 years.Happy 300 everyone!!!!
Mmmmmm, March means corned beef, and Easter this year too!The March fan club is ready to take over.
It is such a tragedy, I hate hearing of these school shootings. The victims and the community are in my thoughts.Sorry for the downer news but, today there was another school shooting. Luckily no fatalities. This particular school however, Middletown Madison, in Middletown Ohio, is a school I have connection to. I taught percussion and worked with the Marching Band there for 3 years. I have been gone for two, but still have friends and former students there.
Today during lunch, an 8th grader walked into the cafeteria and fired several shots, hitting 2 students directly and causing shrapnel to hit 2 others. The shooter then ran out of the building and was taken into custody a short while later. All four victims are expected to physically recover, but emotionally they will never be the same.
So sad, on so many levels.
I actually did that back in 2012, I wrote it on the line that use to be under my name on the old way the site was set up.For today you should have changed your name to Xmas366...now you can resume back to xmas365 for the next 4 years.
Good morning, friend~
Happy Monday!
Hope you have a Merry day, too!
xx

Thank you so much Meceka. I hope you have a nice day ♥
Good Monday morning, and Happy Milestone Day, my Christmas friends!
What a crazy weekend! Nancy was still sick most of the weekend, so I ran all the errands and took Elizabeth everywhere she needed to be.
We spent most of the weekend trying to get a good picture of Jacob with his car and a guitar for the school yearbook. Today is the deadline. The seniors get a full page dedicated to each student, and we've already sent baby pictures and other favorites, but there is supposed to be one big background picture. I couldn't get the right picture, but the yearbook teacher-guy said I could try again today. Nice!
I hope y'all have a great day!![]()
Have you tried apple cider vinegar? 1 tsp. before a meal - or mix 1-3 tsp in water & drink with a meal. They say it's amazing for heart burn/reflux issues!

Adorable!!!
Sorry to hear that. We definitely worry more about our pets than we worry about ourselves. That's how you know we're dog lovers.
