Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! 1st Pines Day of March! Here we go again and I'm sure Carl will deliver as he always does this evening. My brother from CA texted my mom last night and says he can't believe it's already March either. Says he was just here for Christmas like a few days ago he feels. My mom's tax guy she met with yesterday who shes known for years asked her the same thing...does she understand time anymore because he doesn't. I'm in that boat but now that it's spring or at least close to officially spring we need to hit the brakes on time a little but somehow I don't see that happening. Should be another busy day at work. I'm a broken record but it's true. And I hope HMG you are feeling better today. Hope Harlowe is doing ok too. Nitro says Hi...oh and he also says bark bark.

Our next marker is the 1/3 Season point and, believe it or not, it is just 13 days away. Less than two weeks.
(Merciful heavens. We will soon be in the second third of our count!)


Yet another fantastic day here yesterday, but today promises to be close to 20 degrees cooler. At least the predicted rain all fell last night and now clear skies are said to be the rule for this second day of March.
We are at 50 degrees right now and may get cooler during the day rather than warmer.


Carl is ready if you are, for the 'Pines' usual mid week open house.

Gracie & I had a nice surprise to look out the window this morning & see SNOW!!!!! Not a lot, but enough to delay schools 2 hours!

Lol..Edge that was funny. I get paid for every sick day,but if I dont use em up I lose them and they wont pay for unused. SOoo..After Christmas every year I pretty much have a 3 day work week. I do four 10-12 hour days to get a long weekend. Then use my sick days to knock it down to 3 days. I should have never went salary... live and learn.

Good evening, friends! I'm shocked that I actually got to stop by tonight. This is the first time this year I got to spend time here during the week. I feel lucky! Today was BEAUTIFUL here! Weather was good, but it is going to change this week and cool off...but it will back up by the weekend.

Started planning for our baby's first birthday tonight. Exciting!

Another long day here, I am bushed. I do have the next 3 days off to do nothing.
We finally joined the world with an HDTV that we just bought. I set it up tonight and the first thing I watched was the Bruins game, WOW!!!! It was amazing

Good morning!

There is a lot of snow out there! So glad it isn't the heavy kind. Hoping the mystery plow-er shows up today. I shoveled a bit last night, but I didn't get much done. The cats were having fun and getting in the way and it was very cold out. My fingers were numb in a matter of minutes so I went in and shortly after went to bed. I must say morning came way too soon today!

Fresh snow is in the air here. Looked so nice on my way home this morning. Made it to Weds..which is actually my thursday. Sooo..more sick days to burn off this week. Weds is the new Friday.
