Wow, you guys sure are talky today!

Good Wednesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I've been working at a feverish pace this morning, attempting (in vain) to catch up...at work and on here.

The kids did a wonderful job in the chorus recital at school last night! We got so many compliments on them, we were a little embarrassed. I couldn't be more proud!

This weekend is the annual Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival. It's a big, two-day festival with rattlesnake milking demonstrations & displays by the local Dept. of Natural Resources. It used to be a big event to bring the snakes that you caught to be measured & weighed as a competition, then sold to labs for anti-venom work. But PETA had a duck about it, so now it's just a regular festival. Who needs all that pesky anti-venom? LOL

No, I couldn't today. I'm at the animal hospital to talk to her vet & pick up refills of her prescriptions. Adi is home with her, though She's been resting, and took both of the meds.

I'm excited for Spring, too! It's chilly here today.

I'm sure it's a big comfort to have Adi home with her! I'm glad she took both her meds! Good girl Har!!! Sorry to hear it's so chilly there today after a few nice days. What a tease!

We are grilling out tonight too! Can't wait. Half our neighborhood was grilling out last night & it smelled SO good, but we weren't able too, I was jealous. Tonight I'm going to make the neighborhood smell good! Ha ha! After we got home from my sisters last night I opened a bottle of wine! I think I'll have a glass tonight too! Don't want it to get stale in the fridge. Ha ha ha! So cheers! Enjoy your evening!

Well, it's almost quitting time here! YAY! I won't be around tomorrow. Tomorrow we lay my SIL to rest, then we are going to her house with trucks, trailer, dump truck, etc. to continue with the clean up process! Will be a long day!
