Thank you for the love, strength, and prayers.

I awoke to her scratching and making noise, she was behind the chaise. The supplement isn't working as well as I had initially thought, but hopefully is helping just the same.
Bless her heart.

We have a beautiful bright sunny Spring morning here! It is expected to reach 8C today!!!!! I am so glad for the mild dry temps and the sunshine!!

Mr Festive is back from Germany safe and sound. He had to be in a nearby town for work today though so we will see each other this evening. He brought me back a little snowglobe house ornament that will look so great with the Christmas village :) Anyway thanks for keeping him in your prayers for a safe trip.

Well I better get a move on with things.

Wam again yesterday, but it was punctuated by a brief late evening storm which brought rain and cooler temperatures.
Then, overnight, a rather violent lightning storm (no damage).
Today? Should be a rebound to warmer weather with a chance of some more rain.
Right now, we show 65 degrees under cloudy skies here in central NC.

We had a busy but great weekend. Jacob's band played their first paid gig Friday night, and they did an awesome job! They had a good crowd who really got into the music, and they made some good tips on top of their regular pay. They celebrated by going out to Shake-n-Steak LOL.

It was also the Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival this weekend, so both kids worked our church booth all weekend, selling cokes. I'm glad all that's behind us. Whew!

Hooray for Daylight Savings Time!!! :jump (Did I say that already? :p)

I spent the day keeping busy with cleaning, and making our corned beef dinner. Being part Irish I must be sure to have it this time of year like most.
It is also one if the toughest days of the year for me, it is the 25th anniversary of my mother's passing, so keeping busy helps keep it off my mind, but I am emotional and irritable as I usually am on this day.
My weekend off is over, but I have a sequel to follow next weekend.

I'm told I have some Irish in me. I don't know for sure---I know more about my grandmother's family than my grandfather's, because he was a quiet guy, and she was a chatterbox. Someday I'll find out for sure, but my maiden surname is supposed to be Irish. We're going to celebrate St. Patrick's Day by watching some "Mrs. Brown's Boys"!

I've been remiss ... I haven't yet wished you good luck on selling your current home and buying your dream home. Those are big steps, and I hope they all go smoothly!

Good Morning, MMC!!!! Add me to the list of people dealing with a dreary rainy day. They say we may see some Sun this afternoon though. Here's hoping because it's supposed to rain everyday and then snow next weekend. Boo!! Not to much going on today. Just going to work on some spring cleaning and I need to make some phone calls. Hopefully if my connection holds, I can come back here and get caught up too. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Snowflake- Still praying for both of you, Buddy. Hope today brings some improvements and answers.
