Good Morning Friends. A nice day here today. The family and I got up early to do a little fishing. We caught 2 german browns. Off to take Larissa to singing and then swimming lessons. Hope everyone has a good day!

Gee Holiday! I'm the exact opposite of you!! I can't stand summer! It's so hot and muggy and I feel like I stink every time I go outside because I start sweating!! Summers here in Georgia aren't as pleasant. We usually have 90% humidity, a high somewhere around 100 and swarms of gnats and mosquitoes that think your sweat is barbecue sauce so it makes your skin even more delicious! I have like four new mosquito bites since yesterday and all I did was walk to my car! I can't wait for Fall! Even though here in Atlanta, it doesn't arrive until November!

Believe it or not, our July & August get like that too...I just stay in the AC!! Although early June was rather hot & muggy this year!! We normally only hit temps in the 100's for a couple weeks, but mid 90's are normal. But I don't think I could live down south where it is hot like that all the time for months! WEW!! I could do w/o the bugs & especially the mosquito's....with all the farms around here we are the Mosquito (and fly) Hilton! They have been really bad this year....again! I especially *love* (NOT) driving down the road & it sounds like it's raining....but the sun is shining, not a cloud in the sky....it's bugs hitting your windshield! UGH!!! BUT I love all the perks of summer...neighbors being outside, boating, gardening, hanging clothes on the line, bonfires, grilling out, picnics...all the stuff we don't do in the winter b/c it's c-c-c-c-cold & we are "stuck" inside!

Hey everyone, mammaduke here to say Happy Tuesday. Severe thunderstorms here last night & in the am, also here Binger. We were one of the lucky ones who still had power.

I agree with you Holiday, love the smell of everyone cooking on the grill, seeing all the neighbors outside working in there yards, hearing all the birds singing there songs, love summer also. Plus it means we are 1/2 way there to the next holiday season.

Auntie, I hope everything is going good for you & again our prayers are being sent out to you & your friends family.Again I am sorry to hear about your friend.

Cedar, hope you can get back on soon I know how it is not being able to get in here, I really missed everyone here while I was gone.

Hello crown, Maureen, Cedar, Dom, Jay,Holiday & everyone else who I might of missed.

Geesh...another quiet day!! What is this...Cedar goes away & everyone follows her??? No need to log on if Cedar isn't going to be here??? Just kidding...but we do miss ya Cedar girl!

Hope you all had a great day!!

Good morning!!! Happy Hump Day!!! Check out that view!!! :-D

Is anyone else having problems with the link to get to this page...like if you click on "last page" it takes you to an error page??? Maybe that's why there hasn't been much activity here, huh?? Maybe that's why I have the last 3 posts!!!

Looks like today is going to be another beautiful day! Yesterday we had a high of only 68º! Straight from almost 90 to not even 70! Ah...gotta love Ohio weather!

My niece called me last night & wanted to have "movie night" so we went out to the lake & watched City Of Angels. I had my heart set on watching Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium, but her & her friends picked City Of Angels...which is such a good movie. I haven't seen it in years! So it was a nice night! Now, it's back to work today...

Have a good day!!

Good Morning, fellow Christmasoholics!

It's a nice, sunny, calm, crisp 64 degrees outside in Raleigh at this hour, with the promise of a nice day to come.

Days to the Season: 148
Days to Christmas Day: 190
And as noted yesterday, the 1/2 Christmas Day marker arrives one week from today.
Great Balls 'O Fire! The year is racing away!

Have a Wonderful Wednesday, friends.
Seems like just yesterday it was the "peak of the week" and here we are again. How's the view to the weekend, Holiday?

Oh, yes! Carl called me from the Shispering Pines and asked me to tell all of you that they are giving away free fired twinkies today! And all the cold, sweet tea you can drink. They will be running a film called "Stalking the Wild Eggnog". Sounds like fun. See you all there!
(Um sorry, Bing. You will have to BYOC, unless Carl has some extra)

WOW! were already really close. Havent been here in a really long time, I'm going to have some reading to do to catch up.

Good Afternoon all...Hope everyone is having a great day! Been a busy one here as usual. Is anyone having troubles with this website? I seem to run into a few complications on the fun and games. Not sure if it's on my end or what.

Hi There...Long time no see. Lot's of new changes here on MMC. Good to see you back on the forums.

Good afternoon everyone, yes Dom I noticed it won't go to the last page also when you click on it.

Happy hump day everyone hope you are all having a good day. Cloudy & cooler here with highs in the 60's, another chance of rain.

Quick in and out. Don't know if I'll make it this way tomorrow, I still have a bit of organizing left to do for Friday's Relay for Life. We're dedicating our night to Pat. There will be room for the two-dozen names we have collected for our footprints. Last year, I carried names in my pocket above the names we added to our banner - this year they're all coming out in the open.

It's been a bit of a challenge to help another friend of mine continue to feel joy in her surival. She's got some guilt going on since Pat passed away. I'm pretty sure I convinced her that she survived for a reason and deserves to rejoice in her five years of recovery. Julie was one of the first friends I saw go through treatment and only missed two days of work. Talk about strength of character.

She doesn't know it yet, but I'm having a luminary lit for her, she'll find it as we walk the track. It displays her name and three simple words that mean alot "Friend and Champion".

With all that's been going on this week, I still managed to think about Christmas. In fact, I used my small white Christmas hand towel with a gold embossed Christmas tree on the trim during my work out.

cheesy And today I was humming "Deck the Hall". I also shared the number of days remaining to the delight of two latency aged boys and the dismay of the postal worker.

I also made a mistake when I was passing some egg cartons onto someone at work collecting items for recycable crafts for a camp program. I said, "here's some stuff for the camp, there's eggnog, containers, buttons, ribbon - wait no there's no eggnog." I stopped to laugh and then just handed the bags without trying to say egg carton because my mind was elsewhere.

HEY HEY HEY where's the crownster.. sleeping? Of course they are.....

"We can boogie .. on down....... down.... down............."

YABBA! Disco.. THE PASSION!

Good Morning.

Let's get right to it:
Days to the Season: 147
Days to Christmas Day: 189
Indeed, Dom, we are now under a week to the 1/2 Christmas Day marker.
And the 2/3 Season Start milestone has been creeping up on us too - now well under a month!
Can the year really be going by that fast? (Or is it all an illusion? Will we soon wake up and find out it's really only February?)

Another cool one this morning with our temp standing at 62.
But again, it's sunny and calm. Great walking weather for this time of the year!

Well, have a Thrilling Thursday/Fantastic Friday Eve!
Keep that Christmas song in your heart.

Hey! I'm starting to feel ignored - no sleep jokes from my friend Binger lately.
Maybe this will get them in the mood:

You drink too much coffee when...

1. Juan Valdez names his mule after you.
2. You chew on your roommate's fingernails.
3. You can jump-start your car without cables.
4. You do twenty miles on your treadmill before you realize it's not plugged in.
5. You can't remember your second cup.
6. You have a picture of your coffee mug on your coffee mug.
7. Starbucks has a mortgage on your house.
8. Your birthday is a national holiday in Columbia.
9. You don't sweat - you percolate.
10. You grind coffee beans in your mouth.

hmmmmm I am off to Michigan to fix a computer..... WOW look at Detroit... Look at the Lakes.. Look at the collection of DUSTY wigs.....

We can boogie on down.... down....... down...... Paus Du Lux on down............

YABBA!

Read the post above this you sleepy head....

YABBA!

My coffee mug ( holds five gallons..) reads: Coffee: You can sleep when you're dead!

Good Morning Crownster... nice to see you in real time.....

Good morning!! It's another beautiful day here in Ohio! Got some really good news this morning!! I am great aunt again! My niece had a baby boy last night, just before midnight! Everybody is doing good & his name is Carter! Can't wait to hold him!!! :) His pappa has dozens of pictures up already on their website, so at least I got to see him! He will be *welcomed* home by big brother Jack! (Jack is going to have a rude awakening when he realizes he's not the center of attention anymore...poor guy! He's 3)

Have a great day & remember....tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!!!

Well since I have to get more posts in order to upload my own avatar.

So . . . it was another typical warm day here in W. Arkansas. Booo!

Good day all...Been another busy one here. Just wanted to stop in to say hello before I crash out for the night.
