Still the nice weather. A real unexpected treat from Mother Nature this time of the year.
It will gradually get cooler for the next few days and we could see lows in the 30's again by some time next week.
For now, we are content to start the day at 53 sunny degrees here in the capital city.

Hope everyone is off to a good start so far.

I am enjoying a passion fruit/mango green tea and wrapping up some work so I can have the rest of the day. I need to run a few errands. I also need to go shopping for Easter eggs/treats for the boys Easter hunt next Sunday.

I will be glad when this day is over. I have been working long hours all week as we prepared for our vice-president's visit two day ago and I want to make sure that all my work is done before I start my staycation tonight at 10pm (I work the evening shift today). Plus our social committee is doing an Easter-type brunch today to raise some funds so I woke up early to whip up scrambled egg muffins. Tired is now my middle name.

Hope our little furry friends Harlowe and Maggie have had better nights, snowflake22 and HomemakinGirl?

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! It's my 2nd straight 3 day weekend. My next one will be 3 weeks from today already as I'll be off Friday April 8th. Can you even believe we're a little over a week away till Easter and 2 weeks from today is April? I can't. My boss was emailing me back and forth yesterday about work I had finished and the fact I will be out today again and she joked to me that I'm taking a lot of 3 day weekends this year. She loves the fact I do it that way instead of trying to take a long 2 week vacation etc at one time. I love it cause I continuously get at least a 3 day weekend (or more like this month) per month every month till we hit 2017. Anyway, I honestly don't have anything special planned today although this evening we will be celebrating my sister's bday with some pizza and cake. I can't believe she's 26. I remember holding her when she was an infant. It's scary how time goes. We're all getting older but I think getting older is great because it really makes you appreciate your life more and all the little things.
I hope everyone has a great Friday and get to your weekends ASAP!

Good morning everyone, Happy Friday!
We're going to have sun & clouds today, highs near 55 degrees. I can't believe Sunday is the first day of Spring and we're expecting a snowstorm. The strength of the storm is still in question, we'll see what happens. I'm going to take a ride to Hallmark today to buy my Easter cards. There's a HomeGoods next door so I'll probably walk through there as well. Other than that I'll be working on some chores around the house. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Good evening and Happy St. Paddy's Day!!!!

We did the transition from corned beef to hams at work today, it was the easiest transition ever since we sold out of our corned beef. Now we have 10 days to sell 4 pallets worth of hams.
A quiet night at home for us, we already did our traditional corned beef dinner over the weekend, so it was grilled chicken salads tonight.

I wore my green to work today, of course I did it in my own style to get a laugh from people.
This was my shirt...

I got quite a few laughs.
It is Friday eve for me once again, I have my second weekend in a row off, this time for LC's 8th birthday. He turns 8 Sunday, but the party is Saturday. I can't believe my baby is almost 8!
I must head to get some slumber.

Happy Friday! I am working today and have to bring my youngest daughter for a filling at 11:30. It is a small cavity so hopefully should be quick and easy. Tonight my oldest daughter is having a St. Patrick's Day dance at school tonight. She is getting ready at her friend's house so I will go over there later and take some pics before. Tomorrow I might take my youngest one to see Zootopia tomm at the movies...we'll see...Not sure about Sunday...cannot believe we are going to get snow but based on the temps it should melt pretty quickly.

A few weeks ago I was compelled to try one of those new hard root beers, I love root beer, so I thought what the heck. I got one sip down and, YUCK!!!!! I was disappointed, I looked forward to trying it but couldn't get past the alcohol flavor. It was my first sip of an alcoholic beverage since my first drink back in 2000. I will stick with my IBC Root Beer.

I agree ... don't put alcohol in my soda!
