Good morning!
A chilly start to the morning, but the sun is supposed to shine today so it should warm up to the low 40s. Yesterday was cold, but sunny. I had a monster of a headache to start the day, but it went away quickly and I was able to get quite a lot done. Lots more to do today. Off to a good start as I already prepped the cabbage so I can make Kimchi later this afternoon.

Thank you! It was a nice weekend ~ got a lot done and the sun was shining. I hope your weekend was even better and that you have a brilliant week ahead, too!
It's a working holiday for me. Since the mall is open regular hours on Easter, I will be stopping into the store for a bit. Then back home to make dinner: salad, seafood lasagna, whole grain rolls and either lemon bars or carrot cake for dessert.
What are your plans?

Adi is leaving this morning, we appreciate for the travel well wishes.
The weekend was nice, pretty laid back. He was actually away for some of it, but we had fun while he was home. Caught up on the DVR, ordered takeout.
Also went to check out the new house, lots of progress has been made!
Harlowe is doing well for the most part, she did end up getting sick a few times yesterday morning, but seems better now, thankfully.

We will be going to an annual Easter carnival/fair and Easter market that we check out every year with the kids. I also do an egg hunt for the children on Sunday morning and we will cook together a lamb roast with all the trimmings for our dinner. It will be a pretty low key and laid back weekend. The weather is supposed to be bad.
We will try to get a couple jobs done around the house too as we have the time off.
Easter sure has come around fast.
Monday helps us appreciate Friday more...and besides we're blessed for each day we have which i will mention in a moment why I say that today.Merry Morning!
It might be Monday but it is a new day and a new week and for that I am thankful.

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Easter Week! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't complain cause I've had back to back 3 day weekends. Time to put in a couple of 5 day weeks before I get another long weekend in April. On Saturday evening I went to this show at a local arena and when I came out around 10PM to go back to my car (I left early to try to get to the lot to get out before many others left) I saw lots of cop cars and flashing lights. I was like wow what happened...looked like a scene out of a movie. I saw someone on a stretcher and realized a car had crashed. I got home to find out on the news that someone had hit a pedestrian who was crossing the intersection and killed them. Unbelievable. They said it happened literally within a few minutes of when I had left the arena so I almost saw it live (scary to even think about). Anyway as they say just appreciate everyday because life is crazy and we never know what will happen. Not to sound somber about it...but more just to appreciate today for what today is.
