Days to Christmas Day: 277

And believe it or not, we really are but THREE days away from the 1/4 marker to Christmas Day!


Just a bit warmer each day.
Today we should break well into the 70's and reach nearly to 80 tomorrow!
Right now, things have again started just a bit coolish at 51 degrees here in central North Carolina, but with lots of sun and no wind.


Ready for the 'Pines?
It's ready for you.
And with Carl in charge, it's as ready as it will ever be!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Hump Day and Pines Day! Hope everyone slept well. I did. I slept 8 hours and then I still couldn't get out of bed till 15 minutes later than my alarm. Fortunately I get up early enough and leave enough time for myself to still have no problem getting all my morning routines done and still get to work on time. Everyone else looking forward to Easter weekend yet? Cause I know that I am. I like when it falls in late March/early April. That seems about right for Easter. We're supposed to get some rain on Friday and then the weekend is supposed to be in the 50s with some sunshine. Not terrible weather for late March. Speaking of late I better get going to work.

Under a Winter Storm Warning here. All forecasts I have checked have us right on the edge (isn't that always the way?!) so I don't really know if I should expect a bit of snow or rain, sleet and ice. Wind will be gusty. Could be an interesting couple of days. Going to do a bit of storm prep and then tackle a few projects.

Harlowe kept leading me away from going back home on our walk! She's put the brakes on, and walk the opposite direction. What a stinker! They are so smart!

Gracie did that to me last night too. I thought we were almost done with our walk (already had 2 miles in....) but instead of turning to go home, she took a left & drug me to the spiritual center & the pond! LOL! I thought maybe she would have had enough, but nope...

It's going to be nice today, partly sunny with temperatures in the mid 60's. I think I'll take Maggie for a walk in her stroller this afternoon. The fresh air would be good for the both us. I really need to start getting some daily exercise again. I know I sound like a broken record when I say that. I haven't been on a scale lately but my wedding band and my jeans are getting getting a little snug. I need to make it a priority! Anyway, typical day of errands and chores. Hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!

We just got done doing Easter baskets,..for some reason Easter has turned into a mini Christmas. Looks like I gotta find 2 more baskets for the kids spillover stuff that wouldnt fit inside the mammoth baskets...lol

We always love it when the MMC family grows some more. What's more family than poking a little fun at another family member.

I could go for a nice ribeye, I hope you enjoyed it.

Actually, I get to enjoy it tonight. Hubby didn't get home from work til after 8:00 so we decided to wait til tonight & hope he gets home earlier. And today is not supposed to be as windy as yesterday! xx So come on over! Ribeyes (mine will be a marinated ribeye) & roasted red potatoes!

Had a bit of luck this evening at Staples. We went for something else, but looked at the Kindles because Mr. needs a new one. They had the basic one for half price! None were in stock, but they ordered him one at the special price to be shipped to us. Then later I thought, darn, we should've gotten two! Mine is several years old---the first one with a touchscreen. Mr.'s old one was 2nd gen, with a keyboard!

Sounds like an awesome deal! I agree with snowflake....can you call & order another? FUN!

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high near 70 then rain later moving in later tonight. Not to much going on here. Just babysitting one niece at a time while the other is at the doctors. Mom is finally starting to get back to normal after her spell last week so at least I won't have to babysit her as much as well. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!
