My mom said she almost fainted and that my grandma burst out crying when the doctor told her. It didn't help that they didn't find out until mom was almost 8 months along.

Shannon's Mom said "can you imagine how hard that caramel would have been to get off in the morning - frozen to the windshield?" UGH! Yes, they were very happy. They had a sense of humor about it - we all chuckled! They took off so fast the miracle whip was on her trunk & the shaving cream was in the road. LOL! I told Shannon to bring it to school today & ask who left this at her house!

I wonder if she'll see any guilty faces!

What a hectic day. I think I will fix a quick and easy meal tonight as Mr Festive will be out to a fancy dinner with work. Lucky him!

It's just tendinitis. It needs some Aleve, some ice, and some exercises for a week, then we'll see how it's doing. Something spontaneously loosened up yesterday evening, and the pain has been less since then.

Not a quick fix, but I know the right things to do for it now. Figuring out how I can ice it at work ... we have ice and baggies here, but I need to fasten it to my elbow for 15 minutes. I'll bring something from home.

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be a decent day here with a high near 70 then rain later moving in later tonight. Not to much going on here. Just babysitting one niece at a time while the other is at the doctors. Mom is finally starting to get back to normal after her spell last week so at least I won't have to babysit her as much as well. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!

Good Wednesday (Pinesday!) morning, my Christmas friends!

The weather is "Just About Perfect"™! That's Bernie's catchphrase, so I have to trademark it when I use it. He really is locally famous for that phrase, and he uses it every time you ask him how he is LOL.

I'm going out on a job site this afternoon, for an inspection. I volunteered just to get out of the office an into the wonderful weather.

Nancy and I have been trying to get Jacob caught up on all the graduation needs and expenses. I just booked his Grad Bash trip to Orlando, we have to order his cap & gown, his invitations, his tux for prom, and now I have to order his "graduation present"? I don't remember getting a present for HS graduation, much less what Nancy has in mind. Grrr.

Anyway, I hope y'all have a great day!

So yesterday evening we watched The Big Short, what a fabulous movie, so well acted. Tonight we have Mission Impossible 5 lined up, should be entertaining. Last night we also took Loki out to get groomed. He was really due. Here is the before and after:
