Yesterday Moms Amish lady Emma made us Cheddar Pepper Pretzels. OMGosh! Delicious! I have been craving them today! They had a nice spicy kick. Emma said she likes to make them with a little more kick, but she only made a partial batch so she wasn't sure how much pepper to use. She said "they are really good with beer!" And I have no doubt that they would be! She gave me the recipe & she's going to pick up some Cheddar Powder for me at their Amish store this weekend.

We had a going away party last Friday for a co-worker, and we all brought in some goodies. One of our friends brought in her famous beer cheese dip. It was delicious, and addictive!!
Great with pretzels, crackers, bread. I kept thinking that it would be extra good with a Honey Weiss!

I make a trail mix at home by mixing some peanuts, chocolate nuts, walnuts, cashews, raisins, m&ms, and anything else I can find to throw in there.

April really crept up on us didn't it? It really hit me yesterday that we were at the end of March. It's like it went so fast that I didn't even notice we had got to the end!!!

Yeah and they're doing it for charity.
And yeah if April goes as fast as March we will be thinking about the BERS before we know it.

I've never had boiled peanuts either but I'm inclined to think I would like them. It makes me think of these little nuts called shatines that I had in the west indies. They are a type of nut that they boil in seasoned/salted water. They have a hard shell and inside is a large nut similar to a peanut. The locals have them as a snack. Delicious!

Good Afternoon/Evening christmas friends...Hope everyone is having a good day so far...Its been a lovely sunny day here today but still has that bite of a chill in it Brrrr...Another fantastic day with my girls...We went to the swimming pool in the morning then went to feed the ducks in the afternoon...Tonite i am having Rump steak,Chips,Mushrooms and homemade onion rings for dinner and off-course a glass of wine to wash it doooon...You guys are more than welcome to join me tonite but i might rope yeah in to baby sit the girls lol...Enjoy the rest of your day Christmas friends...P.S. My next big milestone month is October. It's my favourite month of the year.

But honestly, I hope it slows down. I am looking forward to enjoying some milder weather (when it comes). As much as I love the autumn, I very much enjoy spring/summer too !
