I hate when doctors don't get back to me quickly, especially when I'm concerned. I know they see things all day every day, but surely they could take a moment to get results to you quicker than they do. A lot of times, they tell me they'll only call if they see a problem. What?! So I have to wonder for two weeks? I feel your pain. I hope you get an answer soon!

Thank you so much! My doctor called this morning, the test results are normal. Not sure why I'm cursed with these headaches/migraines but at least I know there doesn't seem to be a serious underlying cause. I'm so relieved!

I had jury duty a couple of years ago. Day 1 I went I sat there all day and didn't even do anything or say anything. Day 2 they asked me some questions, didn't like my answers and let me go with a bunch of other people!

She's kind of nervous about going, I hope they only keep her one the day.

TGIF, my Christmas friends!

Today is the Senior Prom, and Nancy is all atwitter! The girl Jacob is taking lives in a town about 30 minutes away, so he and I drove over there yesterday, just to make sure he could find his way LOL. Nancy has made sure I charged all the cameras, picked up the tux, and the flowers. Who's prom is this, anyway?

Good evening everyone.

This has been an exhausting week. I am so glad tomorrow is Friday!

Today was the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony. I am the advisor for the NHS. So, I have to put everything together, and it is quite an event at my high school. Also, this is my first year as the advisor, so I was learning as I went of course. Lots of little things to deal with over the last couple of weeks.... But the ceremony went off just fine, no problems. Afterward, I took the NHS members to Olive Garden for lunch. So they were basically out of school for the day. It was fun and had no problems, but the planning and set-up and such was just tiring

I was also tired because Tuesday night my wife and I went to see Billy Joel in concert down in Cincinnati. It was a GREAT concert. We were behind the stage, a bit a of strange set-up, but the seats were wonderful and so close to the stage. We got home late, and of course still had work the next day, plus getting ready for the NHS ceremony.
Well, now it is time to relax, finally.

Congratulations to the NHS members and to you for making their day so special!
Billy Joel is one of my favorite artists ~ so glad you got to see him live.

I would be really worried if they were followed by a pepper truck.

Not too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores. My youngest has jury duty on Monday, we're going to take a ride to the court building later so she knows where she is going on Monday. My neurologist never got back to me with my test results, I'm so annoyed. I guess no news is good news. I hope! I'm going to try and get through to him again today. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good luck to your daughter with jury duty. Hope if she has to stay it is an interesting case!

TGIF snowflake! I read that the midwest/northeast will be back to normal temps by mid April and stay that way mostly through the spring. No real "hot weather" but no real "cold weather" either. I'll take average temperatures for a while since that will start to head into the 60s later in April here.

I hope that is what happens!

Weekend Eve. It's here again.
And so soon. (Seems like it was just here last week.)

But these numbers have not been seen for a full year:
Days to the Season: 219
Days to Christmas Day: 261

And it's also been a year since we have stood exactly this close to back-to-back Milestone markers.
Let's review them:
1) The 1/3 Christmas Day point -- a scant 18 days off.
2) The 200-day Season Window -- 19 days away.
(Can you imagine? Two ** MILESTONE DAY ** banners in a row!)


Not bad here weather-wise, yesterday. We reached the 60's and had no further rain despite a morning threat.
Today has commenced at 46 degrees with the promise of clear skies in our sector of MMC land.

My brother used to get those. I don't think he gets them much anymore but he did for several years on and off. I'm not sure the reason for them but I'm glad your results came back normal so there doesn't appear to be anything serious. I hope they go away soon and just sorta fade out and disappear on their own.

It's nothing to be nervous about. You sit there, they call your name eventually like you're in school then they take you to a room with others from the group and sit there. It's pretty uneventful.
