What a busy weekend. Had a headache most of it, so it took me a bit longer to get things accomplished than normal. It was 80 degrees here yesterday! Supposed to be the same kind of day today and then it is going to cool down again.

Good Monday Morning MMC! What a perfect weekend weather-wise and it was actually a slow weekend for me. Next weekend I know I have a few extra things to do but I should still be able to enjoy it. Tough to beat that weather. It looks like next weekend is already looking just as amazing. Mid 60s and sunshine. I am kind of glad it's not rushing into the heat too soon this year. Looks like we have ups and downs but we're mostly staying close to normal temperatures or slightly above. Anyway, off to work I go. I'm going to have a great stretch where I'm off 5 out of 9 Monday's from mid-May to mid-July. Looking forward to that because I haven't had a Monday off in forever. Time to post the count.

I'm enjoying a day off thanks to a Massachusetts holiday. It's also the anniversary of the ride of Paul Revere---one of our relatives emailed the entire Longfellow poem to the family!

Back to routine this week. The kids are back at school. I am much better so will be catching up with a few things I've fallen behind with and keeping up with everything else :)

It's really cold at the moment. Last week's temps were really mild and I thought the cold was behind us but I was wrong. Saturday we had snow/hail/sleet and the past couple mornings have been frosted over. I am ready for warmer weather, I really am!

We had a great Sunday at mom's, except that Nancy couldn't be there. It Tax Season, don't you know? LOL Her sister is a CPA AND her employer, so all I ever hear about is Tax Season. Anyway, today is that last day of that for a while, thank goodness!

We had a great lunch, then my brother and I worked on the tractor's rotary cutter (got it going!). Then we did some target practice. I miss being in the country sometimes, so I could go out and shoot skeet or targets whenever I feel like it. After that, we went home. Elizabeth and I cleaned the pool furniture, and had a great time outside.

Happy Monday!
It's going to be mostly sunny and warm today with a high of 73 degrees. My husband opened the pool yesterday. It looks like a swamp right now, it always does when he first takes the cover off. It will clear up in a few days, I can't wait until it does. It's so nice to look out back and not see that ugly pool cover. Anyway, not too much going on here today. I'm going to take Maggie for a walk as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. I'm going to take a ride to Target at some point to pick up a few things. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. My youngest still has another week of telephone standby for jury duty! That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

My team is the Flyers (even though I live in WI) but I think of you every time the Islanders play and as long as they aren't playing the Flyers or Wild, I'm rooting for them :D;)
