I hope your eldest is feeling better.
Hi DWIt's been a Manic Monday as usual. So much work recently, and my aunt still has two weeks before her next check up for her broken leg, which means more caretaking for me. But, all in all, it's a good day!
I'm going to get some exercise this evening and try to relax! I'm definitely glad it's a Rudolph Day and that tomorrow's a special one as well. I need a little cheer in my life!
I hope you all are well and have a great evening! Thanks for making my days a little more merrier and definitely more bright!

Another rather sleepless night. Busy day ahead of me. I have to track down a package my sister sent me 10 days ago. She lives on the other side of the state so it should have been here by now. Might be going to the library later this morning and having lunch with my cousin, too. Have to fit work in at some time, also.

It is sunny and dry out but those artic winds are icy and BITTER!
Thankful it is dry out though!
I was hoping to book mum's flight last night but it turns out she may not be able to make it on the dates I chose. Shame as I found a really good bargain! Still trying to work it out and it's stressing me a little as I was hoping to have at least that checked off my list this week. So much else to do!
My eldest is better today at least, so he made it into school. Thanks for the well wishes.

Harlowe seemed fine when I got home from work. She ate dinner, walked, then played a few minutes. Then she suddenly wanted to be left alone & refused her meds. We tried 5 times. First time she missed a dose of heart meds. She stayed close most of the night. Not sure what's going on, but I'm worried.
Adi took the tick into the vet, and we got it all out. They said to just keep a close eye on her, symptoms for Lyme take about 3 weeks or longer to show. A few other illnesses could show prior, but since she's on frontline & has the vaccine, we are hopeful she'll be ok.
One thing her vet said was that some dogs can fight tick born illnesses on their own. And some need help with meds.
Praying she's back to normal today & takes her meds
