Hey, friends! Hope all is well. Been a long day that is wrapping up a long two weeks. There have been some journeys that I won't go into because there are some long stories, but I'm lucky I haven't attended a couple of funerals in the past two weeks. The older I get, the more aware I become of the selfishness that many adults have and the sickness that comes with addiction. If you don't mind, say a prayer for my family.

Doc, my dear wife, is sitting here watching junk TV. You know reality TV shows about being a "real housewife" or the shows that everyone is cheating on everyone and then fighting. She loves it...I love to watch her reactions to it. I wish she would watch Sportscenter!

Y'all have a great night. I'm going to go read the rest of the board and head to bed.

It wasn't bad, just up a lot to go outside.
I'm tired! But she is doing fairly well, got sick yesterday but was playful last night.

Garden time was productive, thank you. Willa helped me, so I had to keep moving her out of the way so I could get things done. Quality time!!
Palmer is doing well, thank you for asking! She was so happy to see me when I got home last night and then had to inspect everything I brought in.

Almost made it through my Tuesday at work...3 more hours to go. This is the last day of dbl shifts. Getting a little aged for 20 hr workday..lol

Merry Tuesday!! I am dragging today..this dreary weather makes it so hard to get out of bed. My oldest daughter has an orthodontist appt today and my youngest daughter has a consult for braces..ugh! I hope they say we can hold off..we really don't want to have to pay for 2 at the same time...lol

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had to leave a little early and take Jacob to the doctor's office to get his immunization records for college. On the way home, it stormed terribly. The trees were leaning in the wind and the rain was coming down in thick sheets. Just as we were coming up on Bellville, lightning struck a telephone pole in front of us! Sparks flew and a wire fell from the pole. Awesome! LOL

Then I had to get back in the car to take Elizabeth to dance. Luckily, the storm had mostly passed over by then. I hope today is a little less eventful.

My time in the garden was productive ~ more asparagus roots (or is it crowns?), rhubarb and peas were planted. And I got to spend quality time with Willa.

Good morning everyone, Happy Tuesday!
I'm heading out soon, I have to run a few errands. My middle one decided she wants to go back to school, she has an appointment tomorrow at a local college. She's been busy working every day so I'm going to pick up her immunization records for her. I also have to pick up her transcript at the high school. And I'm going to stop at the supermarket afterward to do some food shopping. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

How exciting that your daughter is going to go back to school. What is she going to study? Best of luck to her!

Doctors visit went well, just a bunch of routine appointment that I would have to use vacation time for when I start my new shift. Friday is my very last afternoon shift! Counting down the days!

Great day yesterday! It was gorgeous out ~ absolutely a beautiful spring day. Spent time with my cousin, saw one of my teachers from high school (she is such a sweetie!), and found lots of stuff for the store. Got home late and had to put everything away so I was up way past my bedtime. Very tired, but today shouldn't be as hectic so I might get to go to bed early. Is it bad if I am counting down to when I can go back to sleep? So glad it is Wednesday! Lots to do at home and more paperwork, so the day should fly by.
