Just got a update on our new kitten we have been waiting for...turns out the lady is a scammer. She wanted 40.00 because she held onto the kitten until it was ready (her choice) then she wanted another 30.00 for handling..umm !!! So I barely held it under control on the phone with her...back to looking yet again. The 70.00 would have been okay if that included shots,fixed, etc.

Have you tried the local shelter/cat rescue?

So sorry it didn't work out. Glad you found out before the scam took from you! I hope you find your perfect kitten soon!

Today is also my wedding anniversary, 26 years. Time flies when you're having fun. I can't believe all of my girls are now older than I was when I met their father. I wish time would slow down. We'll be going out for dinner to celebrate.

I saw the doctor because my elbow tendonitis is improved, but still hanging on. I have to wear a wrist brace for 3 months to immobilize the tendon as much as possible so it can heal completely. (Yes, wrist---the wrist-bone really IS connected to the elbow-bone.) I got the brace on the way back to work, and it's going to take some getting used to.

I sometimes watch old commercials on Youtube just for fun. Brings back some old memories.

Husband left for Israel for a few weeks on Monday, so I've been busily preparing for him to go on that trip, watched my sister graduate from college on Saturday, and now am trying to keep things running at home while he's gone.
