I went home to check on Harlowe at lunch, and she seemed to be doing pretty good. I couldn't see any adverse reactions to the new heart medicine, or from taking her medications together. Fingers crossed that continues! <3

I am very hopeful!

Hey all...Happy Friday! I am just working and tonight we are going with friends to see Kenny Chesney. We are going out to dinner and then the show. Tomorrow is my youngest daughter's b-day, she will be 10...double digits! We are going to have a cookout with family on Sunday. Hope you all are having a great day!

Hope your weekend was as awesome as your plans sounded!! Happy 10th Birthday to your daughter!!!

Well I left a little early so I'm home till Tuesday. Hope everyone has a great Friday evening and a relaxing and fun weekend. Looks like I'll be posting the count for the next 7 days...wish me luck cause filling Crown's big shoes is almost impossible.

May 15th at 5 p.m. we sat at the kitchen table and watched it snow. I was so in awe that I never even snapped a pic! Crazy weather.

That is so crazy.

We had to cover our garden yesterday! Almost had enough plastic containers to cover them all, but still needed a blanket & some plastic bags. What a pain!!

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

Very wet morning here, but at least it is only rain not that white stuff.

Busy day here. I have to be at church at 9am to help prepare the snacks for after Elsa's funeral. Visitation starts at noon with funeral at 1. They are expecting a lot of people. Please remeber her husband and her girls in your prayers as they celebrate her life today and how much she meant to them.

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy mid-point day of May! 15 days behind us and 15 ahead of us after today. 2 weeks till Memorial Day. Now that I laid those stats out there for you all (in preparation of posting the count momentarily) I have the heat running on May 16th. This is late for us to be using heat. Usually by now we start to think about putting the aircondition up soon. Not this year. Anyway, I have the day off and we're taking my mom to IHOP for a late Mother's Day gift.
I hope you all have a great Monday and keep smiling knowing that we're heading towards summertime (even though the weather does not seem it)!

Good morning all. I wasn't on the computer yesterday so I didn't see all your cold/freezing posts until this morning. I am so sorry you all are dealing with unseasonably cold weather. Winter is long enough with it protruding into spring.

I almost reget to say we had near perfect weather on Sunday. 80F and a little breeze. We went to church, out to eat, grocery shopping, fishing (again), swept the pool, played cards with the kids, and relaxed in the evening. It was a most wonderful day.

I hope your weather turns for the better very soon. Have a wonderful and blessed day!

Good morning everyone. It's Monday? Yes. We are now heading downhill towards the Christmas season? Yes. We have a new milestone to look forward to? Of course yes! Let's look at the numbers this morning to start the week.

Days to the Season: 181
Days to Christmas Day: 223

What is our next milestone you ask? It's actually going to happen on June 8th and it will be the 200 day window to Christmas Day! That will happen 3 weeks from the day after tomorrow (on a Pine's Day no less).

It's sunny but chilly here. But it's all good because summertime is almost here. And I wish you all as the great Crown would a Marvelous Monday my friends!

Monday morning, a nice sunny but cold one.Lots of frost last night. I am hoping by months end I can finally get my plants out in the garden.
Have to take mom for her post op appointment today(she had laser surgery last week for her glaucoma). Also going to stop at costco, I need more flour.
