image.jpeg Merry Sunday! I survived my daughter's sleepover! They went to bed around 12:30 and they were up at 7:30. One my daughter's friends is a diabetic so I woke her up around 4 to make sure she felt ok and her blood sugar was not too low. She said she felt ok and went back to bed but I tossed and turned thinking what if she was just too tired to tell me..lol but she was fine in the morning. We went to the beach for a few hours in the afternoon and definitely went to bed early.
We are not up to much today..my youngest daughter is going to match in our town parade for the softball league. Then just a quiet evening...we may grill out. Hope you all have a great day!

It's going to be a rainy day here. We're heading to the park to walk Loki before it rains. Then we will go grocery shopping, do some housecleaning and finally relax with movies this afternoon. Have a great day everyone!

These werent those cheap'o ones either. From the look of the paint and clothing scheme they appeared to be German made. Its actually funny because I offered the lady 50.00 over what she wanted,but wouldnt take it because she promised original person they could have em. Not many people would do that today.

She did pretty good, was still up every two hours but didn't seem to be uncomfortable like she was on Friday night.

We are going to relax inside today.
We have high humidity & rain on and off here. My sister will be coming over for lunch. Should be fun!
My Dad just left for a fishing trip with his buddies to South Dakota. Praying he has a safe trip & a great time.

Tomorrow we celebrate Memorial Day!! To most now its just a party day. Here is a sobering thought.. Being southern we celebrated it on a totally different day and didnt recognize the national holiday. But from Shiloh,Vicksburg,Gettysburg, Mexico,France,Normandy, Chosin Resevoir,Khe Sahn,Panama,Kuwait,Iraq,Afghanistan we remember the now close to 1.1 million men and women who have fallen for their country. And in some small way we are hopeful to never have to add any more people to this total again. The most fitting picture I had.20050527022.jpg
