Back home afterward to work on the laundry, I definitely slacked this weekend and it really piled up. I have a couple of other errands to run this afternoon so I'll be in and out today. Good, uh, Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Three-day weekends always through me off, but in a good way! We spent the weekend following Jacob's band around, like star-struck groupies LOL. I have to say, every time they play, they sound better. It's hard not to jump on stage and grab a guitar, too! I don't think he would appreciate that, though.

They played on St. Simon's Island last night, and spent the night to go to the beach this morning, so Nancy & I got home late last night. I'm still dragging. Coffee pot, here I come again!

She is still drinking an awful lot of water, and needing to go outside very often. So I'm not sure what to think-part of it is the furosemide (diuretic), but I don't think it's only that. Not sure if the infection is still present, I know the heat and humidity are much more difficult for her to cope with, being in CHF.
Hopefully her vet will have some ideas or direction to head in.

Good, uh, Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Three-day weekends always through me off, but in a good way! We spent the weekend following Jacob's band around, like star-struck groupies LOL. I have to say, every time they play, they sound better. Good morning!

All caught up ~ took quite a bit of time as I was over three days behind.

The past three days went by fast! Quite an interesting time, too. It was very hot and humid, the promised rain never happened, although it stormed in the surrounding areas, and I have been sick since Friday afternoon. Better, but exhausted today, so I am going to catch up on chores around the house and see if the stuff picked up for the store were good finds.

Speaking of the store, the sale is going all right, but the punch bowl sets still haven't sold. Keeping the sale going for at least two more weeks as June is also a slow month. If all else fails, Plan B will take effect. The mall owner said we were doing great for our size, but I hinted around again that I would like a bigger space.

A critter threw the dirt out of the pots that were going to be a part of my kitchen garden and since I found 4 kittens under the barberry bush that was nearby, I decided to scrap the idea for this year. The kittens are adorable!
All but the beans have been planted, so as of now, things are looking good garden-wise. Hopefully it will rain tonight/tomorrow as the fruit trees and berry bushes really need the rain!

Good morning guys & gals! Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone had a wonderful memorial weekend! The weather turned out to be awesome! We had a major downpour Saturday night just as we were getting ready to eat our smoked food - but not a big deal, we just piled inside & ate. And I must say it was quite delicious! Then us girls played marbles. Haven't played that for a long time ~ it got pretty heated! Ha ha!!! It was fun!

This morning has been a little unusual. I was supposed to stay with Mom last night but her AC went out, so my sis took her to her house on Saturday night & she stayed there for the weekend. I had already told my boss I would be in late this morning since I thought I would be staying with Mom ~ I woke up today & felt like I had a cow sitting on my chest! I'm not sure if it's a cold or allergies! My co-worker said he had the same thing, all weekend. UGH! Anyway, I'm feeling better now, but I did take advantage of coming into work late. I stayed at the lake a little longer this morning & enjoyed some couch & tv time! Hard to come in after that. What a beautiful morning!

THEN I got some sad news that my Moms youngest sister was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer! UGH! Cancer sucks! Makes me so sad. She's such a sweet lady! Her husband died of kidney cancer probably close to 15 years ago. I hate this for their family! She see's a specialist on Thursday which also happens to be my uncle Bobs funeral. Viewing is Wednesday so I guess I'll be off work Thursday instead of today. What a week, huh?! Just reinforces that we need to cherish family, friends & health!

Good evening,

It was a long day like usual at work, and the cool down did not happen, darn lying weather app. It was so humid when I walked out of the building today, it was kind of shocking.
Watching the Stanley Cup Final game 1, it is tied going to the third.
I have to work late tomorrow, inventory, I have to work until 10pm as they want to try something new. I hate this new idea, but I get paid either way.
I am heading to bed soon.

Harlowe is doing okay, still drinking a lot and needing to go out every two-three hours. I'm concerned that this infection isn't going away/and her meds aren't doing their job. I will see what her vet says.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Happy Last Day of May. It was a great and relaxing long holiday weekend. I really had time to just do nothing for a change. Sometimes that feels good. The bbq was delicious and the best part about a big bbq is the leftovers for the next day aka tonight. It's my busy week at work and with it being only 4 days instead of 5 well this week is really gonna move. Can not believe we're in the last day of May. March, April, May have gone so fast it's just mind boggling.
