OK, I was just wondering what everybody else's schedules look like for seasonal BER months decorating. I'm sure everyone's is different and you can't decorate incorrectly.

This is ours. (Sept. 1 and Oct. 1 are approximates)
Sept. 1 - Fall decorations
Oct. 1 - Halloween decorations
Nov. 1 - Thanksgiving decorations
Thankgiving Day - Christmas decorations

Mine is very close to yours. Sometimes I have to work thanksgiving so then I do Christmas the day after.

Those are close to my dates actually. Except I put Halloween earlier usually by Sept 1 I'm ready for 2 months of Halloween.

Good to know.
Too bad about working on T'Day. I usually take that whole week off.

Good luck on the presentation!
Thank you!
Happily, I'm not one of those that present it; I just make sure they don't embarrass themselves through poor grammar, bad spelling, typos, missing words, lapses in logic or consistency, etc. on the screen or in the handouts. They do the writing and the creative bits, I do the quality control.

You just described my writing style (or lack there of). laugh.gif

How exciting to be thinking about Autumn/Halloween :)

I start around mid September with a few autumn things and then Halloween from last weekend in Sep or October 01st. From Nov 01st I start with Christmas little by little. I slowly build with the small things and then the bigger pieces as the month progresses ending with the Tree by the last weekend in Nov.

A slow build compared to our sudden changes. Very cool!

It is just me, or does everyone else have dreams of going into stores and being so excited to see Christmas decorations everywhere? I would like to think I have had about four dreams of such this year.

I was super excited in my dream last night. The setting was probably September. I walked into a store and found Christmas everywhere. I was so excited... Then, my cat began to nudge me with his head because he wanted me to pet him at 5 AM. Although I do enjoy petting Simon, I do not appreciate being awoken at that house. Plus, I don't like the fact that he ruined my wonderful dream.

With that said, I think it is time to visit Tinseltown, Ottawa's year-round Christmas store, shortly!

Thanks for sharing! I always love to hear about everybody else's timeframes, too.

End of August / Beginning of September- Autumn Décor

Beginning - Mid September Halloween decor (I often put them out with Autumn décor depending on how much time I have over the weekend)

October 31st / Beginning of November- Thanksgiving (just a few Thanksgiving decorations)

Beginning-Mid November- Christmas décor

Great that you got to spend time with family over weekend. I know how precious that is.

I am surprised to hear Har is still struggling. I hope the vet can find exactly what the problem is so she can get the proper treatment. You must be so worried and frustrated. I am so sorry. I will be praying for you and Har. Keep me posted please.

We have been enjoying the time off and just taking it easy. We took the boys bike riding on Monday and made it to the seaside for a picnic on Tuesday. It was beautiful. We were lucky it was a sunny and warm day. It's been in the high 50s to mid 60s this week! Suppose to be really nice tomorrow so thinking about where to go :)
Thank you, we really are worried & frustrated. I am praying it isn't something that requires surgery.
And thanks again for the prayers!

Glad you're enjoying the time off together, the bike ride & picnic sound lovely.
Perfect weather, too! :)

I have those dreams, too!
Mine start with Autumn / Halloween decorations and then amazing Christmas ones, too!

Hugs to Simon :D
