Good Morning.

The Weekend. It's here once again.

Now, the weekends may come and go 52 times a year, but our beloved Christmas Season comes only once, as does Christmas Day.

Let's check and see how far away they are:
Days to the Season: 162
Days to Christmas Day: 204

Well, not as far off as one might think.
In fact, the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone marker is just barely over HALF A WEEK away. A scant four days! Then, of course, both of our counts will number in the 100's.
(Now how's that for a Satisfyingly Serene Saturday Start?)


The rain held off yesterday until late evening. A dry one is a good bet today as well before heavy rain (and possibly severe weather) will threaten us for tomorrow.
For now, we are experiencing 73 degrees here under clear skies.

Happy Saturday! Hope you are all having a good morning. Not up to much today. I am taking my youngest daughter and her friend to the carnival for a couple of hours. It is right on our town green. And then my daughter has a softball game at 5. Then should be a relaxing night. Enjoy your day!

Not too much going on here today. I just have to food shop and then I'll be working on the laundry. My husband and the girls are working today. Hopefully we'll all meet up for dinner, I plan on grilling burgers. The weather doesn't look too bad but there is a chance of a brief shower this afternoon. The heavier rain will be moving in tomorrow.

Good morning everyone. Busy day here! I'm going to try to work on the pool, now that the weeks of rain have ended. My daughter is ready for that to be open!
Hopefully the yard is dry enough to mow, and more spring/early summer cleaning to take place.

I've been working most of the morning outside, and it's already hot!

Jacob's outdoor gig was rained out last night, but we were still out late shopping.

Right now, mam & Elizabeth are cooking my favorite German dish mom makes, called roladin. I can't wait for supper tonight!

Thanks for all the prayers folks. Loved ones are still in the hospital. Nothing life threatening at the moment-everyone is recovering or just hanging in there. Sometimes life's hard. But that's why I'm glad to have you all for Christmas friends and to celebrate each day with you. Hope everyone has a great day!

I finally have a day off. Thank God. I hope things will be calm tomorrow too-I need a good break!

Dreaming of the beach this weekend afternoon! I've enjoyed resting all day and now will get a few odds and ends done around the house tonight when my husband gets off work in half an hour. Hope you all have had a wonderful Saturday so far!

Nice cool Saturday morning here...love morning like this, nice and quiet just relaxing. Picking up my eldest in about half hour when she gets done work and then going to a few garage sales before taking her home and then I get to head off to work for 5 hours.
My back is slowly getting better, thanks for all your prayers and thoughts.

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Hope you all are doing well this morning. Certainly feels good that it's a Saturday. I slept without a/c last night which was nice. Didn't need it. Looks like I may need it a bit today as it should warm up before we get storms on Sunday. Oh well I hope the weekends this summer aren't gonna be too rainy. Last year they were beautiful in the summer. I have some errands to do today so a pretty busy day but definitely some time to relax and enjoy the weekend.

Morning everyone!! Been suffering with sinus,sneezes, watery eyes for a few days. Ever since some kind of tree has been letting some kind of white fluffy thing fall of them. It was so bad yesterday it looked like it was snowing outside.
