Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning MMC! Merry MILESTONE DAY! Merry Pines Day! Merry Hump Day! Merry Wednesday! What a day!

It was chilly this morning @ 50º ~ had to wear a sweatshirt for our walk! Then it sprinkled on my way to work - we had sun to the east & dark sky's to the west & then a beautiful rainbow! It's not very often we see a rainbow to the west. Pretty cool!

Thanks to XmasDreams, guess what we had for supper last night?! Yep, Taco Tuesday! They were delish too!

Our concoction maker is out for delivery already today ~ guess it paid to order at 2:00 in the morning Monday night/Tues morning. LOL! I'll bring it to the Pines tonight!

I woke up expecting heavy rains but I think we only got a light shower overnight and it only thundered twice.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Hump Day or as we say Pines Day! Can't wait to see Crown's post this morning. As I said I went to see my brother at my uncle's for dinner last night. We talked a good amount and it was good to see him. He's coming tonight for dinner and then he's going to Europe on Thursday. Hopefully I can leave work on time today as the last 2 days I have had to stay late. Other than that the weather is beautiful. I turned off my a/c and have my windows open.

So i am dropping off her and her friends at the dance and then I will go to the game. Hope you all have a great day and cannot believe how close we are getting to the season!

Thank you! She seemed fine all day yesterday. Ate all her food yesterday & walked 3 miles with us this morning. Still hoping it was just a fluke! I'll be keeping an eye on her!

The year is moving along at reindeer speed and I just can't keep up with all the "stuff" I want to get done around the house. Every winter I say I'm waiting for it warm up and every summer I say I'm waiting for it to cool down. I'm just going to have to admit to myself that there are very few perfect days and just start somewhere and it will get done.

Anyway, I hope you all have a wonderful and blessed day!

I love the term reindeer speed LOL!!!
I can relate to the waiting for the right time to get certain things done. Yeah I guess sometimes you just have to make a start. Good luck!

Wonderful!!!
It'll be a day of crafts, shopping, harvest comfort foods, a craft beer walk, scarecrow stuffing, pumpkin ring tosses, and we'll have to hit a haunted hay ride!

Ha ha! I'm not too great myself, but it's fun!
We can mostly buy the crafts
But, the beer may help with our crafting skills, or at least give us some
confidence

Good morning all! Just got back from vacation last night. We had a wonderful time. We spent 2 full days in Gettysburg, 2.5 days in Philadelphia and a day in Harpers Ferry.
Lots of driving!
We were able to enjoy some of everyone's interests. We saw my historical sights, my wife's art museums, and family favorite zoo. Then, by accident, we ended up in Philly while the ComicCon was going. That is a favorite of everyone as well. We are some of the crazy people who dress up as superheros and comic book characters at the conventions. We also hiked up Maryland Heights outside of Harpers Ferry. It is a solid hike, but the view of Harpers Ferry is amazing.
Now it is time to relax a little at home.

Hey MMC! A busy day! But so excited that it's Pines Eve and Milestone Eve too! Tomorrow's going to be a great one! Holiday's got a mixer and we've got ice cream sandwiches and crafts and all kinds of fun going on!! Can't wait to see what happens and celebrate with you!!

Things are okay here-still the same issues with medical problems in the family and people needing extra care. Oh well-such is life! It won't always last!! Have an awesome evening everyone!

We're going to visit Gloria, so it will be great to spend time with her and spoil her and give her star treatment. She's so looking forward to our visit.
