Christmas Countdown - 2016

Wow. Is it the Weekend again, already?

And wow, again. Will we really be down to TWO WEEKS to the HALF WAY point to Christmas Day 2016 the day after tomorrow?

Well, it's true and we have the Milestone chart to prove it!

Days to the Season: 155
Days to Christmas Day: 197


What a wonderful day yesterday!
The temps were in the 70's, the humidity was way down, there was not a drop of rain.......and I took advantage to get the yard work done.
(Now, when it's 97 degrees on Sunday with soaring humidity, I can relax smugly inside in the cool congratulating myself on getting the outdoor work done when conditions were favorable!)
We have started out this morning at 74 degrees for the moment, but the heat will no doubt start to build, shortly.

It's supposed to be more humid today with some showers/thunderstorms then drier on Sunday and comfortable again into next week. I dropped my car off last night for an oil change this morning. Hope it will be done soon. I miss my car so much when I don't have it. Other than that just going to enjoy the day...my brother is coming over for cake and coffee this evening.

I think you deserve a nap at some point. Hope you can fit one in.
Shame your mum has to go :( Those goodbyes are tough. Hope you guys can have another visit real soon. Good luck with packing and laundry.

It is a very dismal and rainy morning. I have been enjoying cups of tea and watching the Good Witch.

Would have liked to continue this lazy Saturday but we have a viewing later on so after some brunch we will have to tidy up and store away some stuff. Then we will have to pop out somewhere while the agent shows the house. I will be so glad when this is all over.

The Euro cup starts this weekend and England plays this evening. The boys are all pumped fro the big match.

Hope you guys are enjoying a much needed lie in and wake up to a beautiful Saturday filled with your favourite things!

image.jpeg Happy Saturday MMC! We are not up to much today. I am going to go to the gym and fold some laundry. My brother and his family are coming up from NC tomorrow to Wednesday. They were originally supposed to come next weekend but changed plans last night. I feel bad because I have something due at work on Tuesday so I am not sure I can take any time off. We'll see...

My kids are watching Halloweentown -enjoying their first day of summer vacation!

Day 3 of my 5 day weekend is over and done, I got to see LC and his classmates put a performance on at school. Then I came home and did hours of yard work.
It wasn't warm out but the sun was strong, I had such a major headache and had to take ibuprofen and shut my eyes for an hour.
JP has a baseball game in the morning, so I think I will head to bed.

I know, Har & I both are bummed.
I'll see her in a few weeks when we move, but still always shed a few tears.

I need motivation! Maybe some Christmas music is in order!
