I would like to say I'm shocked by the news out of Orlando but I'm not. It's becoming all to commonplace now of days. Praying for the families of the victims.

I don't know why but I am heavy about going into work this morningI don't know why. I had a night of weird/bad dreams so perhaps I just need for those feelings to wear off as the morning passes.
I have next weekend off though! So something to look forward too!

I worked in the yard and the pool Friday evening and all day yesterday, and it has finally paid off. It looks great, if I do say so myself!
And it's a good thing, too. Today is Mama's birthday AND it's the day Elizabeth comes home from church camp! We're grilling this evening at the pool for both of them, and I'm looking forward to it. Like DYHWIH said, it's hot! But it's not too bad after sun sets.

That's the saddest part IMO. I turn on the t.v. this morning and see it and I'm not even phased by it anymore. When I was a kid if something like this happened the entire world would be in stunned disbelief.

Yay Bradmac! Yay for productivity and for the pool not being green and for birthdays and for Elizabeth coming home from camp!! Sounds like a great night with the grilling too-I was out last night as the sun was setting but it was GREAT. Have an awesome one!

Mentioning the old guard suddenly made me think of Gabulldawg. I know he left abruptly well over a year ago after apparently having medical issues.
Has anyone heard from or about him since?
Know what makes chores on a 98 degree day go more easily? CHRISTMAS TUNES. Yep. I'm breakin' 'em out. Extreme times call for extreme measures. Can't wait for CIJ in just a few short weeks!
