Today is my husbands birthday. I'm heading out soon, I have lots to do. We'll be going out for dinner tonight to celebrate. Back to the house afterward to have coffee & cake and open gifts. I'll pop back in when I can.

Good evening,

The last day of my 5 day weekend is just about done, it went too fast. JP had a baseball game this afternoon and his first Boy Scouts meeting tonight. Busy like usual.
Back to work tomorrow, just winding down my evening by watching game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, hoping the Penguins can close it out and lift the Cup tonight.

Typical Monday ahead for me: chores and work. Mulling over a few ideas and hoping I can figure out how to make at least one of them work. Should be a busy day.

Merry Monday !
The children are off one more day and resume school/nursery tomorrow. They have 6 weeks school before their summer school break starts end of July. Going back tomorrow will be tough. They are ready for summer holidays.

Dull, grey and rainy here. We are still warm in the 60s but it's dropping this week to more average temps in the 50s.

I did, on Friday afternoon.
The bank does need everything to be complete before the appraisal can happen, so since the landscaping won't be complete on Wednesday, the appraisal has to be canceled. So, we will close late. We could have tried to find another option, however it would have taken time and lots of documents to be signed, as well as a second appraisal out of our pocket. The good news is that she can extend our financing rate that was so great. So, we will still move in as planned, on time. We will just close later. Hopefully the following week!
The problem is all of the rain we are getting, and we have at least three days of it this week. Praying that the forecast changes.
Our hotel opening was also delayed because of the landscaping. It's mother natures fault The issue that I have with our builder, is there a lack of communication! But we will just take it as it comes.

Good Monday Morning MMC! I'm off from work today so just trying to figure out what to do. Yesterday was a relaxing day. I think today that I may do some yard work and go to the mall. I like being busy but once in a while you need a day to just sorta give yourself some time to relax. It's pretty cool that we are all seeing CIJ not being very far away from us now!

Another hot and humid one yesterday. The kind of day that makes you want to stay inside and just let nature have its way with the great outdoors for the duration.
This new week has dawned at 69 degrees here in the capital city and today should be a bit cooler.

Another cool morning here!! We went by the Hallmark store yesterday and I noticed they are slowly moving in the fall items. At work July 4th is usually our end of summer in seasonal (garden area).. I have left orders to be informed at the 1st items to arrive for Christmas. Its a bet amongst a few stores. Whoever has the nearest date wins 500 bigguns.

We already have Back to School coming in. I noticed some pallets a few days ago.

Stop! Don't even want to hear "back to school" LOL! (though I'm very happy to hear about Christmas things... Ha ha)

Rocky start here ... Mr.'s cold is roaring, so he's going to see the doctor about it, while I'm fighting off a headache. Hopefully, neither one of those can last long. Gorgeous weather, though.

Yeah no excuse to forget next year . Hope your mom had a great bday! Ironically, it's also the day my parents got married. They were married 2 years on the day I was born. I guess that I was their "anniversary gift".

There are some days that life is just not fair! This is one of them days!! It is an absolutely GORGEOUS day! There is a predicted high of 84º but so far very little humidity! My hubby is off work today - he & Gracie stayed at the lake last night. It was so hard for me to leave there. Yesterday was a gorgeous day too! I stayed with Mom last night, so it was all good, but ahhhhhhh! We were out on our pontoon almost all day. Jims uncle & his girlfriend paddled their paddle boats to our trailer & we took them out on our pontoon on a tour of the lake with a cup of coffee & sunshine at 8 am! So, so nice!

The I Do BBQ was really nice on Saturday! The night ended with a fierce game of whiffle ball. Ha ha! They had a good turnout & plenty of delicious food & drink!

Our "concoction maker" is a huge success at the lake. Funny b/c when we got to the I Do BBQ my brother & SIL had just bought one too. They had that fired up, making some kind of rum drinks. (I did not have any - I had to drive )

Today is Emma's (Moms Amish lady) 3rd Anniversary of caretaking in Ohio. My bro is having a cook out tonight to celebrate & eat leftover food & drink! Not sure that we will make it as usually the golfers & wives get together for pizza after golfing. But I wished her a happy day this morning!

It doesn't look like I'll have much of a chance to catch up around here. I got to work late since I stayed with Mom & I'm 450 posts behind, you chatty PEEPS!
