Good morning ~
Not too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores. I'm feeling a bit under the weather, wondering if I may have been glutened last night when we went out for dinner. We ate at one of my favorite restaurants and I've never had a problem there before. I guess that's the chance I take every time I eat out. Anyway, typical here of errands and chores.

Somehow the kids found a old TV show that they like. I kinda remember when it aired on tv. " Are you ready?" " Are you ready?" For the Big Comfy Couch!!

We had a big storm hit in the middle of the night here. Temps dropped 20° in 1 hour. Still suffering with sneezing,burning eyes etc. But it eased up after the rain (or it might be the allergy medicine) lol. Now I really do wish it was winter again

We had our bbq on Saturday..today I kept smelling shrimp in the kitchen. All morning its been driving me nuts.. I eventually came across a 2 pound bag of raw shrimp on top of the fridge. Gawd what a sight,still trying to find out who had brought shrimp,and how do you forget about bringing them?

Merry Monday! I did not sleep well last night at all....I fell asleep ok and then I woke up tossing and turning. I think I will definitely need some caffeine this afternoon. I am just working today and we are finally starting to slow down a bit so I can relax a little which is nice. Hope you all have a great day and good start to the summer!

Good morning everyone!
We are back from Indy and ComicCon. Today is a relax and do nothing kind of day. While ComicCons are fun, they are tiring. It was a lot of fun.
Actor and director Kevin Smith (Clerks, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Red State, etc...) was there to show his newest movie, Yoga Hosers. His daughter and Johnny Depp's daughter are the stars of the movie. He spoke for about an hour and then showed the movie and then had a Q&A session. It was a lot of fun.

Thanks for all of the Anniversary wishes. We are complete nerds so it was nice to spend our anniversary doing something we both really enjoy! Plus Indy is a special city for us. We spent a weekend there together early in our relationship and also took out Honeymoon in Indy. It is a great city with a lot of memories for us. Plus, we both worked with marching bands who performed in Indy at the Band of America Marching Band Finals every November. So we really enjoy the city.

In other Cosplay/ComicCon news. We may be going to Louisville this coming Sunday for a small Con. But, it has a kids cosplay contest, and Henry has a really cool Plankton outfit, so the current plan is to head down there for just the one day.
If you are interested in our silly family activities, we have a little cosplay facebook page. It is Lola and the professor. Feel free to check it out and like the page if you are on facebook. We are about to expand, we hope, and start a local cosplay group that can go to local events and charity events.

Sorry to take up so much space talking about our silly antics.

sounds like you had a fantastic time ! My son loves cosplay too and has several outfits he made himself.

I love obscure shows. One I always watched as a kid that not many people remember is Zoobilee Zoo.
